JAGSoM Bangalore, formerly IFIM Business School, is an Electronic City PGDM with a published exam-plus-interview door. A CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT or MAT score opens the file. The institute then runs its own group discussion and personal interview. That is not the Karnataka KMAT management-share layer, and it is not a seat you can buy off-process.

What should an applicant plan for?

Hold one of the five accepted scores, then complete JAGSoM’s own application. The 2026 process page describes ASP registration, a group discussion and a personal interview. Work experience is not listed as mandatory on that page.

The official fee on 17 August 2026 was INR 17.50 lakh, including boarding and lodging except during the internship. That is a bundled residential figure. Compare it with colleges that quote tuition and hostel separately, including XIME Bangalore. JAGSoM also publishes merit and need-linked scholarships on the same page; those amounts are discounts against the last instalment, not a second door.

Where does JAGSoM fit in a Bangalore shortlist?

JAGSoM sits with the city’s autonomous PGDM names, not with Christ, Jain or Alliance university processes and not with KPPGCA member colleges that use KMAT. Use it when you have a mid-range national-test score and want a residential Electronic City campus. Skip anyone who recasts that as a Karnataka quota seat.
