CUET-UG 2026 results are out; university merit lists are running

The short answer
As of July 2026, CUET-UG 2026 results are out — declared 23 June per the official NTA CUET portal — and the action has moved to the universities: 250-plus institutions are running their own merit lists and counselling rounds through July. Your score now matters university by university, so track each shortlist you applied to, not the NTA site.

What should you do now?
- Check each university's admission portal you applied to — merit lists and counselling schedules are published per university, not on the NTA site.
- If your CUET score came in lower than hoped, remember the accessible non-CUET BBA routes: NPAT, SET and the universities' own tests, none of which need a CUET percentile.

CUET scores don’t admit anyone by themselves: each participating university converts the score into its own merit list, with its own weightages, rounds and deadlines. That is why the weeks after the result matter more than the result day itself — a good score unused by a deadline is worth nothing.
For BBA aspirants specifically, CUET is one door among several. The six big Bangalore universities need no CUET at all, and NPAT and SET remain open, accessible routes in their own cycles. If a low percentile has you fielding calls from “quota” agents, read the legal reality first: paid seats at credible universities do not exist, and any payment above a published fee is capitation.
