Eligibility at a glance
- Academic background
- A pass in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics, plus one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a technical subject, from a recognised board.
- Entrance exams
- Admission is through JEE Main (and JEE Advanced for the IITs), state CETs such as MHT-CET, KCET or WBJEE, or university exams like BITSAT and VITEEE.
- Minimum marks
- Many institutes expect a minimum Class 12 aggregate in PCM (varies by institute and category).

- Which exam do I need for engineering admission?
