Medical PG Admissions

Your specialisation, planned strategically.

For MD, MS and DNB aspirants, Udaan turns a NEET-PG rank into a clear plan across All-India, state, deemed and DNB options.

Last updated 16 June 2026

Post-graduate medical admission is a strategic puzzle as much as an academic one. Specialty preferences, college quality, service bonds and several parallel counselling routes all pull in different directions, and the right call for one candidate is wrong for another.

Udaan helps you reason it through. We are counsellors, not agents: we weigh your rank, specialty and constraints honestly and guide you to a seat you can commit to.

Why doctors choose Udaan for PG

The PG seat shapes a medical career. Doctors work with us because we bring clarity to the specialty-versus-college trade-off, map every counselling route open to their rank, and lay out bonds and fees plainly before any decision is made.

We tell you what we believe, including when a costly seat is not worth it. That honesty is the point of independent counselling.

How we help secure your seat

We translate your NEET-PG rank into realistic options, plan across All-India, state, deemed and DNB routes, keep every registration and deadline on track, and prepare your documents thoroughly. Rules, bonds and cut-offs change each year, so we work from the current season and confirm specifics with each authority.

How Udaan helps

  • Specialty-and-college strategy

We help balance the specialty you want against the colleges your rank can realistically secure.

  • Counselling across every route

MCC All-India Quota, state counselling, deemed universities and DNB options, navigated together.

  • Bonds, fees and the fine print

Honest guidance on service bonds, fees and stipends, so a seat does not bring unwelcome surprises.

  • Documents done right

A complete, correct document set prepared so verification never costs you a round.

Questions, answered

Which exam is needed for medical PG in India?
NEET-PG is the main entrance for MD/MS and most DNB seats, while INI-CET is used for the Institutes of National Importance. We help you plan for the relevant ones.
Is internship completion required?
Yes. A recognised MBBS degree with completed (or soon-to-be-completed) internship is required, along with valid registration. We confirm the current cut-off dates for your year.
What is the difference between All-India and state quota?
All-India Quota seats are filled through MCC counselling, while state-quota seats are filled by each state's authority. Deemed universities and DNB seats have their own processes. We guide you across all of them.
Can Udaan help with DNB and deemed-university seats?
Yes. We include DNB and deemed options where they fit your goals, and explain the fee and bond implications of each before you commit.
When should medical PG counselling preparation begin?
As soon as NEET-PG results are expected, and earlier, by preparing documents and mapping routes, so you can act quickly when counselling opens.
