SVKM's NMIMS Navi Mumbai — MBA

NMIMS Navi Mumbai is the fifth NMIMS campus we profile, and its pages complete the system’s MBA map: Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore and now Navi Mumbai. The campus homepage prints the route in one sentence — admission through NMAT by GMAC, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview — and the university’s 2026 handout, re-downloaded today, prices the campus at Rs 11,00,000 per annum, grouped with Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

What should an applicant plan for?

Two registrations, one calendar. First, NMAT by GMAC — and remember the handout’s first-attempt rule: NMIMS counts only the score of the first NMAT examination you attempt, so the “free retake” strategy that works elsewhere does not exist here. Second, NMIMS’s own registration: 20 August to the extended close of 25 October 2026, Rs 3,000, online only and non-refundable — and it must be completed before the date of your NMAT exam, not just before the window closes. After the score, the university runs its GD and PI stages; cut-offs are set at NMIMS’s sole discretion after the cycle and are never published in advance. The handout also reserves 30% of MBA seats for female candidates across NMIMS programmes.

The fee — Rs 2.5 lakh a year below the Mumbai campus

The handout’s AY 2026-2028 table prints “MBA Bangalore / Hyderabad & Navi Mumbai — Rs 11,00,000” against Mumbai’s Rs 13,50,000. Across two years that is Rs 22,00,000 against Rs 27,00,000 — a Rs 5 lakh saving for the same university degree, the same NMAT door and the same placement season machinery, roughly 25 minutes from the flagship by road. What the campus does not print

Two honest absences. First, salary figures: the campus placements page describes the Placements & Corporate Engagements process, prints recruiter guidelines and links a placement brochure — but publishes no salary table for the MBA, so we print none. Second, seats: no campus-wise intake for the Navi Mumbai MBA appears in the handout or on the campus pages we opened. Any package average or seat count a third party quotes for this campus is unverified until the institute confirms it in writing — that is precisely how inflated “average package” claims travel.

The quota answer

The handout states it without ambiguity: there is no management quota at NMIMS for MBA programmes, and any email or SMS offering one is fraudulent and should not be engaged with monetarily.
