Is there a management quota here?
No. IIM Sirmaur admits through CAT and the printed CAP 2026 formula, and its only extra intake channel is the Supernumerary Admission Process — a published, female-candidates-only process integrated with CAP, with its own printed cut-offs and composite table. That is an affirmative-action door in writing, not a quota for sale: the policy states offers under every category are strictly in order of merit. Nothing on the official pages opened on 9 September 2026 shows any management or NRI channel.
IIM Sirmaur publishes something no other IIM we have mapped prints this plainly: separate CAT cut-off tables for male and female candidates. For CAP 2026 the General-category bar is 90 overall for men and 85 for women, and the gap runs through every reserved category — a structural, printed edge that matters enormously to a borderline candidate planning her year.
What should an applicant plan for?
Admission runs through the Common Admission Process (CAP 2026) — one offline Personal Interview shared across the CAP IIMs — followed by IIM Sirmaur’s own composite: scaled CAT 35, PI 20, academics 15, work experience 20, and two 5-point edges, one for female and transgender candidates and one “Trailblazer” score for professional degrees (engineering, medicine, design, architecture, pharmacy, CA/CMA/CS). Work experience peaks at 23-35 months and scores nothing below 12.
Alongside the regular process sits the Supernumerary Admission Process (SAP) — a female-candidates-only channel integrated with CAP, with its own printed cut-offs, the interview weighted higher at 25, and a hard 60% eligibility floor across Class 10, 12 and graduation.
