Last updated 18 September 2026 · Reviewed by Piyush Agarwal · Latest change: Initial sourced profile published from the campus PG admissions page, programme page and the official Admission Handout 2026 (fee table, first-attempt rule, 30% women's provision) opened today, plus the campus Placement Report 2025-26 PDF read in full (final and summer highlights verified against the rendered pages)
The short answer
As of 18 September 2026, NMIMS Bengaluru admits its two-year MBA on NMAT by GMAC scores alone on a 50% graduation bar, with NMIMS registration open 20 August to 10 October 2026 at Rs 3,000. The 2026 handout prints the fee at Rs 11,00,000 per annum. The campus's own 2025-26 report reads: highest Rs 30 LPA, average Rs 13.5 LPA, median Rs 12 LPA.
Selection process
- Qualify: any-discipline Bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks, per the admission handout for the 2026-2028 batch.
- Take NMAT by GMAC — the Bengaluru PG admissions page prints that the campus 'accepts only NMAT Scores for admission to the MBA program'. NMIMS additionally considers only the FIRST NMAT attempt.
- Register with NMIMS in the same window (2026: 20 August to 10 October, Rs 3,000, online only, non-refundable).
- Selection follows the university's process; cut-offs are set at NMIMS's sole discretion after the cycle, never published in advance. The handout reserves 30% of MBA seats for female candidates across NMIMS programmes.

Is there a management quota here?
NMIMS publishes the same position at every campus: the university 'DOES NOT have any management quota for admissions' and does not authorise any third-party agency for direct admissions, with a standing caution to report suspicious activity. The Bengaluru route is NMAT plus the university's own registration — one printed door, no discretionary share. Anyone selling an NMIMS Bengaluru 'quota seat' is contradicting the university's own notice; the honest route is the NMAT window and the published fee.
NMIMS Bengaluru is the piece of the NMIMS system most applicants meet only through aggregator noise — a strong national brand, a Bangalore address, and very few pages that quote the campus’s own documents. This profile records exactly what the campus publishes: one exam door, a printed fee, and its own placement report.
How does the selection machine actually run?
One door, printed in the campus’s own words: NMAT by GMAC only. The PG admissions page states that all PG admissions happen through NMAT and that Bengaluru “accepts only NMAT Scores for admission to the MBA program” — no CAT, no CMAT, no XAT. Two system-level rules from the official handout matter more than any coaching-institute cut-off estimate: NMIMS considers only the first NMAT attempt, and cut-offs are set at NMIMS’s sole discretion after the cycle. Register with NMIMS in the same window (2026: 20 August to 10 October, Rs 3,000, non-refundable). The handout also prints a 30% women’s share across NMIMS MBA programmes — a published provision inside the merit process. Our NMAT guide maps the full calendar and attempt strategy.
What does it cost, and what does it return?
The handout’s fee table prints Rs 11,00,000 per annum for the Bengaluru MBA (2026-28, “for information only”; the second year is intimated at admission). Within the same table, Mumbai’s flagship reads Rs 13,50,000 and Indore Rs 10,00,000 — the campus ladder inside one university. On returns, the campus publishes its own report, read in full today: for the 2024-26 batch, highest Rs 30 LPA, average Rs 13.5 LPA, median Rs 12 LPA, 122 recruiters, 24 PPOs, 200+ offers for a 400-strong cohort — and for the 2025-27 summer batch, stipends to Rs 1.08 L a month. Read the median and the top-slice averages together: the Top 10% at Rs 22.41 LPA shows the ceiling, the median shows the floor.
Where does NMIMS Bengaluru sit in a Bangalore shortlist?
As the NMAT door of the city’s deemed-university tier — below IIM Bangalore’s CAT ceiling and beside SIBM Bengaluru’s SNAP door and Christ’s multi-exam menu. If your CAT season is gone, the November-December NMAT window is a genuine second act here, at a printed fee Rs 2,50,000 a year below the Mumbai flagship. The full stack is mapped in the Bangalore city guide, and the Mumbai-vs-Somaiya comparison shows how we weigh printed evidence against brand.
How Udaan helps with NMIMS Bengaluru
By holding every number to the campus’s own paper. The fee, the first-attempt rule and the refund terms come from the handout; the placement figures come from the campus’s own report — and if anyone quotes you a “package” or a “quota seat” that appears in neither, we reconcile it against the university’s published no-quota notice before any money moves.

Questions, answered
- What is the NMIMS Bengaluru MBA fee?
- Rs 11,00,000 per annum for the 2026-28 batch — printed in the official admission handout as 'for information only', with the second year's figure intimated at admission in the offer letter. That is Rs 2,50,000 a year less than the Mumbai flagship's Rs 13,50,000, and Rs 1,00,000 more than Indore, under the same university and the same NMAT door.
- Does NMIMS Bengaluru accept CAT or CMAT?
- No. The campus's own PG admissions page prints that it accepts only NMAT scores for the MBA — the strictest single-exam position in the NMIMS system alongside the other campuses. If your CAT season went badly, this campus is still open through the NMAT window (2026: registration to 10 October, exams 2 November to 20 December).
- What are NMIMS Bengaluru's placement figures?
- The campus publishes its own placement report, which is rarer than it should be. For the 2024-26 batch: highest Rs 30 LPA, average Rs 13.5 LPA, median Rs 12 LPA, with 122 recruiters and 24 pre-placement offers. The top-slice averages (Top 10% at Rs 22.41 LPA) are the honest way to see the ceiling versus the median's floor.
- Is there a management quota at NMIMS Bengaluru?
- No — and NMIMS says so in writing at university level: no management quota for any programme, no authorised third-party agencies, and a published helpline (18001025138) to report anyone claiming otherwise. The only printed seat provision beyond merit categories is the 30% women's share across NMIMS MBA programmes, which is part of the published process, not a paid route.
- How does NMIMS Bengaluru compare with the Mumbai campus?
- Same university, same NMAT door, same 50% bar — different price and different cohort. Mumbai's flagship prints Rs 13,50,000 a year against Bengaluru's Rs 11,00,000; Bengaluru's own report (median Rs 12 LPA) is the campus's evidence, while Mumbai's statistics belong to a larger, older cohort. The comparison logic, including the NMAT first-attempt rule that binds both, is in our NMIMS-vs-Somaiya and NMAT guides.
- When can I apply for the next NMIMS Bengaluru intake?
- The 2026 registration window ran 20 August to 10 October at Rs 3,000 with NMAT delivery 2 November to 20 December. NMIMS considers only your first NMAT attempt, so schedule it deliberately; the handout's fee note means your binding fee arrives with the offer letter.
