The short answer

As of July 2026, FORE School's two-year PGDM uses CAT, XAT or GMAT, followed by its selection process; the final decision also considers assessment performance, academics and work experience. The published self-sponsored academic fee is Rs 23,24,000. FORE explicitly says there is no management quota and admissions take place strictly on merit.

Selection process

  1. Apply online through FORE's official portal with a valid CAT, XAT or eligible GMAT result.
  2. FORE shortlists applicants on the entrance result.
  3. Shortlisted applicants attend the institute's selection process, including a personal interview.
  4. Final selection considers the entrance score, selection performance, academic record and work experience.

Is there a management quota here?

No. FORE's admissions FAQ answers this directly: there is no management quota and admission is strictly merit-based. Apply only through the official portal and prepare for the published selection process; a payment or contact cannot replace the accepted exam and assessment.

FORE School publishes a conventional selective PGDM route: accepted entrance exam, shortlist, assessment and final merit decision. Its FAQ is unusually direct on the legal line—there is no management quota. A candidate should therefore judge the school on route fit, interview readiness, programme choice and total cost, not on a promise of access outside the process.

What does the published fee cover?

The official offer annexure calls Rs 23,24,000 the two-year academic fee for the self-sponsored category and splits it across five instalments. That is not automatically an all-in Delhi living cost. FORE’s FAQ says leased hostel facilities are available near the New Delhi campus. Ask for the current accommodation schedule and add travel and living costs before comparing the offer with a mandatory residential school.

How does selection differ from the other three?

FORE publishes a merit formula that combines the accepted entrance result, performance in its selection process, academic history and work experience. That is a different preparation problem from IMI’s named essay-writing stage, IMT’s Critical Thinking and Personal Interview process, and BIMTECH’s extempore plus interview. The best-fit school is the one whose route, programme and cost fit the applicant—not the one with the loudest unsupported placement claim.

Where does FORE fit in the Delhi NCR shortlist?

FORE fits applicants with CAT, XAT or GMAT who want a New Delhi PGDM and can convert an interview-led process. Its published academic fee sits close to IMI’s programme total, but the labels and included components differ.
