Selection process
- Apply online at the university's application portal; the application fee rises across the season — Rs 1,000 up to 28 February 2026 (First Mover), Rs 1,500 up to 31 May 2026 (Early Bird), Rs 2,000 up to the 25 July 2026 last date.
- Hold a valid score in CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GPAT or CUET-PG — GPAT applies only to the MBA (Pharmaceutical Management) — or qualify the IIHMRU-MAT.
- IIHMRU-MAT, the university's own test: fully online and remote, 2.5 hours, five sections of 30 questions each (language comprehension, quantitative aptitude, data analysis, logical reasoning, critical reasoning and general awareness); Rs 500 registration, up to three attempts with Rs 500 per retake, free rescheduling.

Is there a management quota here?
IIHMR publishes exactly one route: an online application, a national test score or its own IIHMRU-MAT, GD-PI, and a composite decision. No management-quota, NRI-quota or paid-seat percentage appears on the programme or admission pages we opened on 3 September 2026. The concession story on record is financial-aid-shaped — an ICICI Bank education-loan tie-up and a scholarship policy page — not seat-shaped. An IIHMR seat offered outside the published application is a route the university itself does not print.

What should an applicant plan for?
The bar is a bachelor’s degree at 50% aggregate — 45% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD — with final-year students documenting eligibility by September.
