Alliance University MBA Fees in 2026: The Published Figures, Sourced
Alliance University MBA fees, sourced: Rs 15,00,000 total for the July 2026-28 batch, the Rs 50,000 registration, installment dates and scholarships to 50%.
The short answer
As of July 2026, Alliance University publishes a total MBA fee of Rs 15,00,000 for Indian nationals for the July 2026-28 batch at Alliance School of Business, paid as Rs 50,000 registration plus three installments of Rs 4,50,000, Rs 5,00,000 and Rs 5,00,000. The official fee PDF marks the figure 'Subject to change'. Merit scholarships waive up to 50% of tuition.
Alliance University is one of the few Bangalore MBA options where the full fee sits in a single official PDF, itemised to the rupee, with installment dates. That makes this an easy page to write honestly and a hard college to lie about. Here is every figure the university publishes for the MBA July Batch 2026-28 at Alliance School of Business, the document behind each one, and what any number above them actually means.
What is the published Alliance University MBA fee?
Rs 15,00,000 total for Indian nationals. That is the “total amount payable” for the two-year full-time MBA, July Batch 2026-28, at Alliance School of Business, per the university’s official fee structure PDF. Foreign nationals pay USD 20,550 under the same document. The PDF carries an explicit caveat: the figures are marked “Subject to change”.
The same PDF breaks the total into four payments:
- Registration fee: Rs 50,000, made up of a Rs 25,000 processing fee and Rs 25,000 for the Learners Value Proposition Course, a virtual course (official fee PDF).
- First installment: Rs 4,50,000, payable as per the provisional admission offer letter (official fee PDF).
- Second installment: Rs 5,00,000, due October 15, 2026 (official fee PDF).
- Third installment: Rs 5,00,000, due April 15, 2027 (official fee PDF).
The arithmetic closes cleanly: Rs 50,000 plus Rs 14,50,000 in installments equals the Rs 15,00,000 total. There is no unexplained gap for anyone to fill with a “package”.
Two smaller amounts sit alongside the tuition. Before classes begin, students pay INR 3,000 towards membership of the Alliance Alumni Association, and the PDF states that fee payment is accepted only through payment.alliance.edu.in, the university’s own payment portal (official fee PDF). Getting to that point costs an application fee of INR 1,000 for Indian applicants, or US$50 for foreign national aspirants, per the official MBA admission process page.
One classification point worth being clear on. This is a university-awarded MBA degree, not a PGDM. Alliance is a private university established by Karnataka State Act No.34 of 2010 and recognized by the UGC, New Delhi (About Alliance University, official page), and the fee PDF’s letterhead displays NAAC Grade A+ accreditation. The two-year programme at Alliance School of Business therefore ends in an MBA from the university itself.
What has Alliance NOT published?
Three things, and each one matters when you are checking a claim.
First, no minimum admission cutoff. The official MBA admission process page names the accepted routes, any one national-level management aptitude test or AMAT, the Alliance Management Aptitude Test, the university’s own exam, and lists eligibility as a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). But it publishes no score below which you cannot be admitted. The only published score bars are the scholarship tiers covered below. Anyone quoting you “the cutoff” at Alliance is quoting something the university has not put in writing.
Second, this fee covers one programme at one school. The Rs 15,00,000 figure belongs to the flagship MBA at Alliance School of Business only. Alliance Ascent College, Alliance Global Business School and Alliance School of Management and Technology run their own MBA variants and publish separate fee PDFs on the same official courses and fee structure page. If someone quotes you an “Alliance MBA fee” that does not match this PDF, check which school and which document they are reading before assuming either of you is wrong.
Third, next year’s number. The PDF governs the July 2026-28 batch and marks its own figures as subject to change. No fee for later batches is published as of July 2026. Budget on the current PDF, then confirm the figure on the official courses and fee structure page at the moment you apply.
What scholarships does Alliance publish on the MBA fee?
Merit scholarships that cut tuition by up to half, with the tiers printed on the official MBA admission process page:
| Entrance score | Tuition fee waiver |
|---|---|
| CAT/XAT 90 percentile and above | 50% |
| CAT/XAT 80 percentile and above | 25% |
| GMAT 650 and above | 50% |
| GMAT 600 and above | 25% |
| NMAT 240 and above | 50% |
| NMAT 220 and above | 35% |
| NMAT 200 and above | 25% |
| NMAT 180 and above | 10% |
All figures are from the Alliance University MBA admission process page, official, accessed July 2026. There is an academic prerequisite attached: 60% and above cumulative across Class X, XII and graduation (same page). MAT, KMAT and CMAT are also referenced on the page; confirm their current tiers directly on the official admission process page, as this page quotes only the tiers we verified verbatim.
Read the table the right way around. These are scholarship bars, not admission cutoffs. A CAT 90 percentiler would clear far more selective gates than this one; the realistic value here is for candidates with a strong NMAT or GMAT score that fell short elsewhere, where a 25% to 50% waiver changes the affordability of a Rs 15,00,000 programme materially. On a 50% tuition waiver, the fee stops being the reason to say no. How the selection day itself runs, from the three-minute extempore to the interview, is covered in our Alliance selection process guide.
What does any figure above the published fee mean?
It means you are being sold something the university says does not exist. Alliance’s official admission process page states that admission to any programme is strictly based on merit, that the university communicates directly with all shortlisted candidates, and that under no circumstances will it appoint an intermediary, whether an individual or organization, to approach candidates with promises of a certain seat for a fee or otherwise. The same page advises against transactions with such intermediaries.
So the honest arithmetic is short. The university’s published costs are the INR 1,000 application fee, Rs 15,00,000 in tuition on the published installment schedule, and INR 3,000 for alumni membership, all paid through payment.alliance.edu.in against the university’s own documents. A demand above that is not a premium route. In Karnataka, any payment beyond sanctioned fees is capitation, a criminal offence under the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act, 1984, which carries 3 to 7 years of imprisonment. Promises of a certain seat at Alliance are the signature of a scam, not a service, because there is no quota behind the promise; the university fills every seat through its own process. The legal frame is in our management quota MBA guide, and the wider Bangalore picture in our Bangalore MBA guide.
