Christ University MBA Fees (2026): What Is Actually Published
Christ University MBA fee 2026: Rs 5,70,000 per year (Karnataka) and Rs 5,80,000 (other states) per the official fee table, plus what is not published.
The short answer
As of July 2026, Christ University's published MBA fee for 2026 entry is Rs 5,70,000 per year for Karnataka students and Rs 5,80,000 per year for other Indian states, the same in both years, per the official Fee Structure 2026 table, plus a non-refundable Rs 8,000 admission registration fee. Any demand above these published figures is capitation, which the university explicitly disclaims.
Christ University publishes its MBA fee in full, on its own website, down to the payment deadlines. That single fact settles most of the questions families bring to us, because any number that does not match the published table is not a fee. This page reproduces every published figure with its source, lists what is genuinely not published, and explains what a higher quote from a third party actually means.
What is the published Christ MBA fee for 2026?
Rs 5,70,000 per year for Karnataka students and Rs 5,80,000 per year for students from other Indian states, identical in Year 1 and Year 2, per the “Fee Structure - 2026” table on the official MBA course page (christuniversity.in/courses/MzM0, accessed 13 July 2026). The same table is published for all six specialisations.
The published per-year figures, with two-year totals (2 x the per-year fee):
| Category | Per year | Two-year total |
|---|---|---|
| Karnataka | INR 5,70,000 | INR 11,40,000 |
| Other Indian states | INR 5,80,000 | INR 11,60,000 |
| NRI | INR 6,70,000 | INR 13,40,000 |
| SAARC / Africa / PIO / OCI / ASEAN | USD 7,800 | USD 15,600 |
| Other foreign nationals | USD 8,000 | USD 16,000 |
Three published details sit alongside the table, all from the same Fee Structure 2026 section of the MBA course page:
- A non-refundable Admission Registration fee of INR 8,000 is payable in addition to the programme fee.
- Payment deadlines are fixed. Year 1 is payable within seven days of the selection result. Year 2 is due on or before 15 March 2027.
- The fee is fixed for two years, with a caveat. The university states that a periodic nominal increase may apply to meet rising costs.
Note the timing: the 2026 admission cycle is over. Session III applications closed on 6 May 2026 per the university’s published selection schedule, and 2027 pages were not yet published when we verified these figures on 13 July 2026. The table above is the record of what the completed 2026 cycle cost, and the reference point for judging any 2027 quote until the university publishes new figures.
One published exception exists, and it is not a quota. The dual-degree variants (MBA Christ plus MBA THWS Germany, MBA Christ plus MBA WMU USA) carry different fees and mandatory work-experience requirements, per the official MBA 2026 brochure; the brochure lists the THWS variant at Rs 6,50,000 for Karnataka students plus EUR instalments. These are separate programmes with their own published pages, not a premium version of the standard MBA seat.
What is NOT published?
The MBA-specific application fee. The university’s cross-programme admission FAQ states only that the application fee varies by programme, is up to INR 1,800, is payable separately per programme and per session, and is non-refundable once the application number is generated. No MBA-specific amount appears on the public pages, so confirm the current figure on the official application-queries page before you pay.
That is the entire list. Tuition, registration fee, deadlines, NRI and foreign categories, even the fee-increase caveat: all of it is on the official course page. This matters because agent websites routinely present Christ’s fee structure as opaque, then offer to “clarify the real cost” on a phone call. There is no real cost to clarify. There is a table, and it is public.
Two things are absent from the published pages by design, not omission. There is no “management quota” fee column: the only categories the university publishes are Karnataka, other Indian states, NRI and foreign nationals. And there is no published management or institutional quota route at all; admission runs only through the university’s own application and four-stage selection process. We cover what that absence means in our Christ management quota explainer.
Do scholarships reduce the Christ MBA fee?
For most MBA applicants, the published fee is the fee, and one footnote already works in Karnataka students’ favour. The fee-table footnote on the MBA course page states that the Karnataka figure of Rs 5,70,000 per year is the actual fee payable and already excludes the scholarship amount. In plain terms, the Karnataka discount is built into the published number. Nobody needs to negotiate it, and nobody can arrange it for a fee.
Beyond that, the university publishes two university-wide schemes on its official scholarships page:
- Merit Scholarship, awarded each September based on pre-entry marks, entrance-test performance and attendance, with published fee-refund slabs of 50%, 25% and 10% by fee range.
- Scholarship for Financial Assistance, for economically weak but diligent students, especially from rural areas, requiring income or community certificates, with concessions of 0-50% for self-financing courses and 0-90% for others, decided by a scholarship committee interview.
One caution on the headline number you may see elsewhere: the separately published Merit Scholarship 2026-27 (up to 50% fee waiver) applies only to the listed PG Science and UG Music and Science programmes. The MBA is not in that published list. Any pitch that quotes a “50% MBA scholarship, arranged through us” is quoting a scheme the MBA is not published under.
What does a figure above the published fee mean?
It means capitation, and the university says so itself. The Miscellaneous Information tab of the official MBA course page states: “The University does not collect any type of Capitation / Donation other than the fee mentioned in the website.” That is the whole answer, in the university’s own words, on the same page as the fee table.
Walk through what a higher quote would have to be. It is not tuition, because tuition is published to the rupee. It is not a quota premium, because no quota route is published and no quota fee column exists. It is not a scholarship-adjusted figure, because the Karnataka footnote already nets the scholarship out. What remains is a payment beyond the sanctioned fee, which is the legal definition of capitation. In Karnataka, collecting it is a criminal offence under the Prohibition of Capitation Fee Act, 1984, and paying a middleman gives you no receipt, no seat and no recourse. Promises of a certain seat at Christ for a premium are promises about a door that officially does not exist; the broader pattern is covered in our guide to what management quota legally is and where the law draws the line.
The practical rule is short. Pay only the figures on christuniversity.in, only through the university’s own portal, and treat any other number, from any source including this page, as unconfirmed until you see it on the official site.
How Udaan helps with Christ MBA fees and admission
Udaan works only inside the published process. We map your academics, entrance scores and budget against Christ’s actual fee table and its own selection rounds, tell you which accepted exam fits your timeline, and manage the application and documentation directly on the university’s portal. We have no partner colleges and take no commissions; every rupee you pay goes to the college, at the published fee. And if Christ’s numbers or process do not fit your situation, we will say so and show you the other verified Bangalore routes, including the honest answer that sometimes none of them fit. Talk to us before you talk to anyone quoting a number that is not on this page or the university’s.

- What is the total Christ University MBA fee for two years?
- Rs 11,40,000 for Karnataka students and Rs 11,60,000 for students from other Indian states, per the Fee Structure 2026 table on the official MBA course page. Add the non-refundable Rs 8,000 admission registration fee. The per-year fee is identical in Year 1 and Year 2.
- Is the Christ MBA fee different for NRI and foreign students?
- Yes. The Fee Structure 2026 table lists INR 6,70,000 per year for NRI candidates, USD 7,800 per year for SAARC, Africa, PIO, OCI and ASEAN candidates, and USD 8,000 per year for other foreign nationals.
- Does Christ University give scholarships on the MBA?
- The fee-table footnote states the Karnataka fee of Rs 5,70,000 per year is the actual fee payable and already excludes the scholarship amount. University-wide merit and financial-assistance schemes exist on the official scholarships page, but the published Merit Scholarship 2026-27 list (up to 50% waiver) does not include the MBA.
- When is the Christ MBA fee payable?
- Year 1 within seven days of the selection result, Year 2 on or before 15 March 2027, per the Fee Structure 2026 section of the official MBA course page. The university also notes the fee is fixed for two years but a periodic nominal increase may apply.
- What is the Christ MBA application fee?
- The MBA-specific amount is not published on the public pages. The university's admission FAQ says the application fee varies by programme, is up to Rs 1,800, is payable per programme and per session, and is non-refundable once the application number is generated. Confirm the current figure on the official application page.
- Is there a management-quota fee for Christ University MBA?
- No such fee exists in any published document. The MBA pages publish no management or institutional quota route, and the course page states the university does not collect any type of capitation or donation other than the fee mentioned on the website. A quoted 'quota package' is a figure for a route that officially does not exist.
