What Changed in MBA Admissions: 11 October 2026

The short answer

On 11 October 2026, NMIMS extended its MBA 2027 application to 25 October — the portal's banner and the re-downloaded handout's schedule table agree while the handout's summary still prints 10 October. MAT September scores stay unposted on day eleven as AIMA's page flips an eighth time; SNAP's EMV question bank is still missing on day four; KMAT's pages still agree on 31 October with the test TBA.

ItemBeforeNow
NMAT — the NMIMS application is EXTENDED to 25 Octobernmat.nmims.edu printed 'Application Closes: 10th October 2026' with the countdown at its zeros on deadline dayA day after the printed close, the portal re-read this morning prints 'NMIMS MBA 2027 Application Extended Till: 25th October 2026' beside a live 14-day countdown, the Step-1/Step-2 flow still live and the career-outcomes block unchanged. The Admission Handout was re-downloaded from the portal's NEW file (Handout-Admission-NMAT-2026-Final.pdf): its schedule table now prints the application window 20 August-25 October 2026 at Rs 3,000 — while its Important-Dates summary table still prints the original 10 October 2026 end date, an internal inconsistency inside the official document; the live portal banner governs. The Rs 13,50,000-a-year Mumbai fee, the first-attempt rule, the 30% women's provision and the no-quota warning all stand. The NMIMS door is open for fourteen more days
MAT — September scores day eleven, and the page flipped an EIGHTH timeAIMA's governing page printed a stale December 2025 block; mat.aima.in printed the completed September block with no score noticeAIMA's MAT content page re-read today has rolled back to the December 2026 candidate block — PBT registration closes 14 December, admit card 17 December, test 20 December; CBT closes 21 December, test 27 December; scores 'by first week of January 2027'; fees Rs 2,300/Rs 4,000 — yesterday's year-old block is gone. mat.aima.in serves with the 'MAT December 2026 registrations are open' banner (67 test cities) and a stale 'PBT Special Drive' table, but no September score notice anywhere. Eleven days past the expired promise, the applicant dashboard remains the only channel
SNAP — the EMV question bank is still not up, day fourThe Ethics, Morality and Values question bank promised for 8 October had not appeared on the public mock page, day threeDay four of the broken promise: /snap-mock re-read this morning still prints the first (24 September) mock's instructions — paid-by-22-September eligibility, the 24 September test date, the SNAP-ID credential pattern — and the snaptest.org homepage carries no EMV question-bank block at all. Registration to 25 November, CBTs 13, 19 and 26 December, result 12 January 2027, 17 institutes, 32 programmes, 79 cities, Rs 2,550 plus Rs 1,000 per programme — all re-confirmed today
KMAT — steady state, day twentyThe key-dates page had re-synced to the homepage: registration to 31 October, test date TBA; September result day nineteenBoth official pages still agree this morning: 'Online Registration End Date October 31st, 2026' with admit card, practice test and test date all TBA — the withdrawn 14 November date stays withdrawn. The 20 September sitting's result is unposted on day twenty, and kppgca.karnataka.gov.in remains DNS-unresolved for twenty days. The read is unchanged: register by 31 October, hold the test date loosely
Watches — SIMC day seventeen; Sambalpur's /admission/ 404s againSIMC's 2027-28 dates unpublished, day sixteen; Sambalpur's /admission/ had just 404'dSIMC's MBA (Communication Management) page re-read today at /programmes/mba-communication-management still prints no 2027-28 date table — day seventeen; the prospectus calendar governs, and the Rs 3,75,500-per-instalment table re-printed on the page today. IIM Sambalpur's /admission/ URL returned 404 again today (day two) with the flagship MBA fee still unpublished anywhere; the only signed fee on record stays MBA-BA's Rs 17,25,000. Sirmaur's two stale fee tables remain unrolled

What should you do now?

  1. If NMIMS is your target: the door reopened — the application now closes 25 October 2026. Complete Step 2 on nmat.nmims.edu (Rs 3,000) on or before the day preceding your NMAT exam date; NMIMS still counts only your first attempt.
  2. If you sat MAT September: day eleven, no score anywhere, and AIMA's page has flipped back to the December 2026 block. Ignore the public pages and check your mat.aima.in applicant dashboard directly.
  3. If you sat the SNAP Ethics mock: the promised question bank is not on the public mock page on day four — watch your registered email, SMS and the mock portal, and do not pay anyone selling 'EMV question banks' on the side.
  4. If KMAT is your Karnataka door: registration stays open to 31 October with the test date TBA — both pages agree. The September result is twenty days late with the government portal still dark; hold plans loosely.
  5. If you are weighing IIM Sambalpur: its flagship fee is still unpublished and /admission/ 404s again today — any figure an agent quotes for it is unverified until the institute prints.

A deadline that moved backwards, two exam sites that kept oscillating, and one IIM admissions page that stayed broken. Here is everything that moved in MBA admissions on 11 October 2026, with the sources above.

NMIMS extended the application by fifteen days

The day after its printed 10 October close, nmat.nmims.edu now prints “NMIMS MBA 2027 Application Extended Till: 25th October 2026” beside a live countdown. The re-downloaded handout — now served from a new file — agrees in its schedule table (20 August to 25 October, Rs 3,000) while its summary table still prints the old date; we note the inconsistency and follow the live portal. The first-attempt rule, the Rs 13,50,000 Mumbai fee and the no-quota warning are unchanged. Our NMAT page, the deadlines tracker and every NMIMS comparison were updated today.

MAT and SNAP kept their candidates waiting

AIMA’s MAT page flipped an eighth time in eleven days — today it prints the December 2026 schedule again — while September’s scores remain unposted eleven days past the expired promise; the mat.aima.in dashboard remains the only channel. SNAP’s promised Ethics, Morality and Values question bank is still not on the public mock page, day four; the real registration stays open to 25 November.

KMAT steady, SIMC silent, Sambalpur broken

KMAT’s two pages still agree — registration to 31 October, test date TBA — with the September result twenty days late and the KPPGCA portal dark for twenty days. SIMC’s own 2027-28 dates stay unpublished on day seventeen; the prospectus governs. And IIM Sambalpur’s /admission/ page 404’d for a second day, the flagship MBA fee still unpublished — our new Sambalpur-vs-Rohtak comparison states that gap plainly.
