As of 21 September 2026, SIOM Nashik's MBA (Operations Management) is SNAP-only and engineers-only: BE/B.Tech with 50% (45% for SC/ST). SIOM's own registration closes 17 January 2027, shortlisting prints 21 January, and GE-PI runs across nine February days. The academic fee is Rs 9,50,000 per annum — and the fee page prints Discretionary Quota Seats at double that.
Selection process
- Register and pay for SNAP 2026 at snaptest.org — registration and payment close 25 November 2026; December sittings; result 12 January 2027. While registering, apply to SIOM Nashik in the same form and pay the Rs 1,000 per-programme fee.
- Complete SIOM's own registration and payment — last date 17 January 2027 (Sunday).
- Shortlist declared 21 January 2027; GE-PI slot booking for shortlisted candidates opens 26 January 2027.
- Group Exercise and Personal Interaction: 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 February 2027.

Is there a management quota here?
SIOM prints a Discretionary Quota Seats note directly under its fee table: a few seats are reserved; only students with a reasonable academic record and good entrance-test scores are considered; the fee is double the open-category academic fees approved by the Fee Structure Committee, paid to the institute by online transfer or demand draft; no donation or capitation is charged; and once admitted on that track the discretionary fee applies for the entire duration. That makes SIOM the fourth Symbiosis campus we have found printing the 2x line, after SIBM Bengaluru, SIBM Hyderabad and SIDTM Pune — a documented institute-level route, not an agent-sold seat. SIU's caution notice still applies: no authorised agents, and approaching one risks permanent debarment.

What should an applicant plan for?
Two payments on two calendars. SNAP first — registration closes 25 November 2026, result 12 January 2027. Then SIOM’s own registration and payment, closing 17 January 2027, with the shortlist on 21 January, slot booking 26 January, and Group Exercise plus Personal Interaction across nine February days (5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21). The academic bill prints Rs 9,50,000 a year — Rs 19,00,000 across the batch — before the residential costs the table itemises (three-sharing hostel Rs 1,05,900 a year, mess Rs 59,800 per instalment).
The printed 2x line, in context
SIOM’s note matches the wording we first mapped at SIBM Bengaluru and SIBM Hyderabad, and yesterday at SIDTM Pune: a few seats reserved, good entrance scores still required, double the open-category academic fee approved by the Fee Structure Committee, paid to the institute by traceable transfer or demand draft, no donation or capitation, and the higher fee locked for the whole programme. What this page will never do is quote an intake we could not read: the programme page prints no sanctioned seat count, so neither do we.
