Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Nagpur
Last updated 21 September 2026 · Reviewed by Piyush Agarwal · Latest change: Initial profile from the institute's official pages opened today: the 2026-28 fee table with instalment arithmetic (Rs 4,49,500 per instalment), homepage placement highlights for both MBA and MBA-FABM 2024-26 with report PDFs linked, and two honest disclosures — the dated admission table still shows the completed 2026-27 cycle, and the homepage apply banner still points at the SNAP 2024 portal. No discretionary-quota line appears on the pages opened; intake is not printed.
The short answer
As of 21 September 2026, SIBM Nagpur's two-year MBA and MBA (Food and Agri Business Management) admit through SNAP. The official fee table prints Rs 4,49,500 per instalment — Rs 17,98,000 in academic fees across the 2026-28 batch. Institute-printed 2024-26 placements: highest Rs 28.38 LPA, average Rs 12.84 lakh. The admissions table still shows last cycle's dates.
Selection process
- Register and pay for SNAP 2026 at snaptest.org — registration closes 25 November 2026; result 12 January 2027. Apply to SIBM Nagpur in the same form and pay the per-programme fee.
- Complete SIBM Nagpur's own registration — the page's printed table is the completed 2026-27 cycle (closed 16 January 2026); watch the page for the 2027-29 dates, which had not replaced it when we opened the page today.
- Shortlisting for GE-PI follows the SNAP result; the printed 2026-27 pattern ran GE-PI across late January and mid-February with the first merit list on 18 February 2026.
- Programme commencement printed for the last cycle: 1 June 2026.
Fees, with sources
| Item | Figure | Cycle | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| MBA academic fee, Indian students, 2026-28 batch (official fee table on the MBA programme page) | Rs 4,49,500 per instalment, four instalments — Rs 8,99,000 per annum, Rs 17,98,000 across the batch. The payable rows prove the arithmetic: first instalment Rs 7,79,600 at admission (academic + Rs 20,000 institute deposit + Rs 20,000 hostel deposit + hostel Rs 2,13,600 per annum + mess Rs 76,500), second instalment Rs 5,26,000 by 25 November 2026; later instalments dated 25 June 2027 and 25 November 2027 | 2026-28 (Year 1 / Year 2 table with payment dates 25-Nov-26, 25-Jun-27, 25-Nov-27) | SIBM Nagpur official MBA programme page, fee table (opened 21 September 2026) ↗ checked 21 Sept 2026 |
Is there a management quota here?
SIBM Nagpur prints no Discretionary Quota Seats line on the pages we opened today — unlike SIBM Bengaluru, SIBM Hyderabad, SIDTM Pune, SIOM Nashik, SIMC Pune and SSSS Pune, whose fee documents carry the 2x rule in writing. Two cautions stand: the SIU notice (no donation or capitation, no authorised agents, permanent debarment for agent-mediated approaches) governs this campus too, and anyone selling a 'management seat' here is describing a route the institute does not print. Note also that the homepage's apply banner still points at the SNAP 2024 portal — stale; the live cycle is SNAP 2026 at snaptest.org.
SIBM Nagpur is the Symbiosis system’s general-management campus in the orange city — a two-year MBA and an MBA (Food and Agri Business Management), both SNAP-gated, with a printed 2026-28 fee table and homepage placement figures for the 2024-26 batch. Every figure below is from sibmnagpur.edu.in, opened 21 September 2026 — including two staleness disclosures an honest map should print.
What should an applicant plan for?
SNAP 2026 registration closes 25 November 2026 — apply to SIBM Nagpur inside the SNAP form and pay the per-programme fee. Then watch the campus page: its dated admission table still shows the completed 2026-27 cycle (institute form closed 16 January 2026, GE-PI 30 January-11 February, first merit list 18 February), and the homepage’s apply banner still links the SNAP 2024 portal. The pattern says the institute form closes a few days after the SNAP result; the 2027-29 dates were not yet posted when we opened the page today, and we do not print dates we cannot read.
The fee, and the price of the agri option
The 2026-28 table prints academic fees of Rs 4,49,500 per instalment, four instalments — Rs 8,99,000 a year, Rs 17,98,000 across the batch — with the first payment of Rs 7,79,600 at admission (deposits, hostel and mess included) and Rs 5,26,000 by 25 November 2026. That places the campus between IIM Nagpur’s Rs 21,00,000 and IMT Nagpur’s Rs 16 lakh all-in on the academic line, before SIBM’s residential costs. The FABM track prints the stronger placement high (Rs 40.12 LPA against the MBA’s Rs 28.38 LPA) at a lower median (Rs 10.40 against Rs 12.10) — a spread our placement-report guide teaches you to read properly.
How Udaan helps with SIBM Nagpur applicants
We keep the SNAP registration itself on time (25 November), flag the stale-2024 apply button so nobody pays the wrong portal, and put the two printed placement tables next to the fee so the ROI question is answered with the institute’s own numbers. Anyone offering a SIBM Nagpur seat outside SNAP is contradicting the university’s caution notice — the campus prints no quota line at all.

Questions, answered
- What is the SIBM Nagpur MBA fee?
- Rs 4,49,500 per instalment, four instalments — Rs 8,99,000 per annum and Rs 17,98,000 across the 2026-28 batch — per the official fee table opened 21 September 2026. The first payment at admission is Rs 7,79,600 because it also carries two refundable deposits, the Rs 2,13,600 annual hostel and Rs 76,500 mess; the second instalment of Rs 5,26,000 falls due 25 November 2026.
- Does SIBM Nagpur accept CAT or only SNAP?
- Only SNAP. The campus is a Symbiosis International (Deemed University) constituent and its admission schedule runs on the SNAP cycle — no CAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT or MAT route is printed.
- Does SIBM Nagpur have a management quota?
- No quota line is printed on the pages we opened today. SIU's caution notice applies: merit-only admission through SNAP, no donation or capitation, no authorised agents, permanent debarment for agent-mediated approaches. Four other Symbiosis campuses print a 2x Discretionary Quota rule; this campus's pages do not.
- What are SIBM Nagpur's placements?
- The homepage prints, for the 2024-26 MBA batch: highest Rs 28.38 LPA, average Rs 12.84 LPA, median Rs 12.10 LPA, with Flipkart, EY, Schneider Electric, Nykaa, SAP and General Mills among named recruiters — and a detailed report PDF linked. The FABM programme prints highest Rs 40.12 LPA, average Rs 12.70 LPA, median Rs 10.40 LPA. These are institute-published figures.
- Why does the SIBM Nagpur site still show old dates?
- The admissions table prints the completed SNAP 2025 cycle (institute form closed 16 January 2026) and the homepage apply banner still points at the SNAP 2024 portal — both stale when we opened the site on 21 September 2026. The live cycle is SNAP 2026, closing 25 November 2026; confirm the institute deadline on the official page before paying anything.
