What Changed in MBA Admissions: 10 October 2026

The short answer

On 10 October 2026, NMAT registration and the NMIMS application close today; MAT September scores stay unposted on day ten as AIMA's page flips a seventh time; SNAP's promised EMV question bank is still not on the mock page; KMAT's key-dates page has re-synced to the homepage; IIM Rohtak's website is back after two days; and GIM's fee page rolled to batch 2027-29.

What changed?

ItemBeforeNow
NMAT — registration and the NMIMS application close TODAYnmat.nmims.edu printed 'Application Closes: 10th October 2026' with two days leftDeadline day: the portal re-read this morning still prints 'Application Closes: 10th October 2026' with the countdown at its zeros, the Step-1/Step-2 flow live and the career-outcomes block (average CTC Rs 24.60 LPA, highest Rs 41.28 LPA, 190 recruiters) unchanged. The Admission Handout re-downloaded today prints the same close, the Rs 13,50,000-a-year Mumbai fee and the no-quota warning verbatim. This is the last day of the NMIMS door for this cycle — the NMAT exam itself runs 2 November-20 December, but NMIMS's own application ends tonight
MAT — September scores day ten, and the page flipped a SEVENTH timeAIMA's page printed the September 2026 block alone with the expired promise; mat.aima.in's banner had rolled to December registrationsAnother shape-change overnight: AIMA's governing MAT page now prints a STALE DECEMBER 2025 block — registration closed 7 and 15 December 2025, tests 13 and 21 December 2025 — a schedule nearly a year old, with the September 2026 and December 2026 blocks both gone. mat.aima.in serves today printing the completed September 2026 schedule (PBT 13 September, CBT 20 September, Rs 2,300/Rs 4,000) with NO score notice anywhere. That is the seventh shape on the content URL in ten days. Scores post silently on the applicant dashboard — day ten; the dashboard governs
SNAP — the EMV question bank is still not up, day threeThe Ethics, Morality and Values question bank promised for 8 October had not appeared on the public mock pageDay three of the broken promise: /snap-mock still prints the first (24 September) mock's instructions — its header even reads 'The SNAP Mock Test window will reopen on 10th September 2026' — and the snaptest.org homepage carries no EMV question-bank block at all. If the bank went out by email, SMS or the mock portal, registered candidates have it and the public page simply was not updated; watch those channels. The real registration stays open to 25 November; CBTs 13, 19 and 26 December; result 12 January 2027; 17 institutes, 32 programmes, 79 cities, Rs 2,550 plus Rs 1,000 per programme — all re-confirmed today
KMAT — the key-dates page agrees with the homepage againSplit-brain: the homepage held registration to 31 October with the test TBA while the key-dates page had rolled back to the completed September blockRe-synced: the key-dates page today prints the new session again — 'Online Registration End Date October 31st, 2026' with admit card, practice test and test date all TBA — matching the homepage. That is the third shape on that URL this week (new session, September rollback, new session). The 20 September sitting's result stays unposted — day nineteen — and kppgca.karnataka.gov.in remains DNS-unresolved, day nineteen. The read: registration open to 31 October, test date unconfirmed, September's result now nineteen days late
Recovered and rolled — IIM Rohtak's website is back; GIM's fee page rolled to 2027-29iimrohtak.ac.in unreachable for two days (policy via mirror, fee carrying its dated 10-Sep read); GIM's page printed the 2026-28 Rs 21,45,000Rohtak's site serves again today — and its news rail prints 'PGP Admission 2026-28 Results'. The signed fee PDF was re-downloaded on the restored site and the PGP 17th-batch fee re-verified: Rs 17,90,000 across six terms (Rs 8,95,000 a year), mess Rs 48,000 a year outside, plus placement-facility Rs 40,000, development Rs 10,000 a year, alumni Rs 6,500 and caution Rs 10,000 — the dated September read holds, now re-verified. GIM's fees page rolled forward: batch 2027-29 academic fee Rs 22,00,000 (Rs 55,000 above the outgoing print), ACCESS scholarships Rs 5,00,000 for 45 PGDM admits, full tuition waiver under Rs 8 lakh income. SIMC's own dates stay unpublished, day sixteen; Sirmaur's two stale fee tables remain unrolled

What should you do now?

  1. If NMAT is your NMIMS door: today is the last day — registration closes tonight and the Rs 3,000 NMIMS application (Step 2 on the portal) must be complete on or before the day preceding your exam. Finish both steps now, not this evening.
  2. If you sat MAT September: day ten, no score anywhere, and AIMA's governing page now prints a year-old December 2025 schedule. Ignore the public pages and check your mat.aima.in applicant dashboard directly.
  3. If you sat the SNAP Ethics mock: the promised question bank is not on the public mock page on day three — watch your registered email, SMS and the mock portal, and do not pay anyone selling 'EMV question banks' on the side.
  4. If KMAT is your Karnataka door: registration stays open to 31 October with the test date TBA — both official pages agree again today. The September result is nineteen days late with the government portal still dark; hold plans loosely.
  5. If you are weighing IIM Rohtak: the site is back and the Rs 17,90,000 fee was re-verified on it today — any 'updated Rohtak fee' an agent quoted during the outage was not from the source.

The NMAT door closes tonight, two official sites changed shape again, and one institute came back online. Here is everything that moved in MBA admissions on 10 October 2026, with the sources above.

NMAT closes today

The NMIMS application and NMAT registration end tonight, 10 October 2026. The portal was re-read this morning: the close stands in print, the Step-1/Step-2 flow is live, and the handout re-downloaded today confirms the Rs 13,50,000-a-year Mumbai fee and the no-quota warning. If this is your route, both steps finish today — and remember that NMIMS counts only your first attempt’s score.

Two sites changed shape again

AIMA’s MAT page now prints a December 2025 schedule — a seventh flip in ten days — while the mat.aima.in portal prints the completed September block with no score notice. The September scores are ten days past their expired promise; the applicant dashboard is the only channel. And SNAP’s Ethics-mock question bank, promised for 8 October, is still absent from the public mock page on day three.

KMAT agrees with itself; Rohtak is back; GIM rolled

KMAT’s key-dates page has re-synced to the homepage — registration to 31 October, test date TBA — ending a two-day split-brain, though September’s result is nineteen days late. IIM Rohtak’s website returned after two days down (its news rail now prints the PGP 2026-28 results), and its Rs 17,90,000 fee was re-verified on the restored site today. GIM’s fees page rolled to batch 2027-29 at Rs 22,00,000 — Rs 55,000 above the outgoing print — with the ACCESS scholarship and tuition-waiver terms refreshed alongside.
