What Changed in MBA Admissions: 24 October 2026

The short answer

On 24 October 2026, NMIMS's extended application window closes TOMORROW — extension day fourteen. SNAP's homepage AMA gate has two days left (free registration by 26 October; session 27 October). KMAT's restored 14 November date holds a sixth day; MAT's December block holds a sixth — and the September score is twenty-four days missing.

What changed?

ItemBeforeNow
NMAT — extension day fourteen, the close is TOMORROWnmat.nmims.edu printed 'Extended Till: 25th October 2026' on 23 October, day thirteen of the extensionThe portal's raw HTML re-read this morning still prints 'NMIMS MBA 2027 Application Extended Till: 25th October 2026' — day FOURTEEN of the extension, and the close lands TOMORROW. The Exam Window / Admit Card Release / Result Declaration blocks all read 'Coming Soon' with the countdown at zeros. The handout's internal inconsistency (schedule table 25 October, summary table 10 October) is unchanged; the live portal banner governs. NMIMS still counts only your first NMAT attempt; the Rs 3,000 application stands. Tomorrow's read is the deadline-day check: does the banner flip to closed, or extend again?
SNAP — the AMA gate has two days left; the question bank is seventeen days missingMock Test 2 sat 23 October; the homepage's mock banner was replaced by an 'Exclusive AMA Session — 27 October 2026, 5:00-6:00 PM, Zoom' banner gated on free registration by 26 OctoberThe homepage re-read today still carries the AMA banner — 'Exclusive AMA Session, 27th October 2026, 5:00pm to 6:00pm, online via ZOOM', eligibility gated on completing a free SNAP registration by 26 October 2026 — TWO days to the gate. The /snap-mock page stands unchanged after yesterday's sitting, printing the same Mock Test 2 instructions (paid by 22 October 11:59 PM; test 23 October). The dedicated EMV question bank promised for 8 October has STILL never appeared — day seventeen. The calendar re-verified at the canonical /snap-important-dates URL: registration closes Wednesday 25 November 2026, admit cards 7/11/18 December, tests 13/19/26 December, result Tuesday 12 January 2027
MAT — day twenty-four, and the page holds a SIXTH dayAIMA's governing URL held the December 2026 candidate block five consecutive days through 23 OctoberThe content page re-read today HELD the December 2026 block for a SIXTH consecutive day (PBT registration closes 14 December, admit card 17 December, test 20 December; CBT closes 21 December, admit card 24 December, test 27 December; fees Rs 2,300 per mode, Rs 4,000 both, re-verified INSIDE the December block; scores 'by first week of January 2027') — the longest no-flip stretch since the twelve-day flip sequence began keeps extending. The same URL still carries the stale September 2025 schedule block (its Rs 2,200/3,800 fee text belongs to that old block, not December's), disclosed. No September score notice exists anywhere, twenty-four days past the expired promise. mat.aima.in returned 403 to our fetch again today — the applicant dashboard remains the only channel that matters
KMAT — the restored 14 November date holds a sixth day; seven days to the registration closeBoth official pages held 'Saturday, November 14th, 2026' five consecutive days through 23 OctoberThe restoration holds a sixth day: the homepage re-read this morning is byte-identical to the restored version (35,579 bytes), and the key-dates page still prints 'Online Registration End Date October 31st, 2026' beside 'KMAT 2026 Test Date Saturday, November 14th, 2026 — MCA 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, MBA 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM'. Admit Card Release Date and Practice Test Date remain TBA — SEVEN days to the registration close, and the admit-card line is the next thing that should move. The 20 September sitting's result stays unposted, day thirty-three; kppgca.karnataka.gov.in remains DNS-unresolved from this host, day thirty-three
Watches — SIMC day thirty; Sambalpur 404s a sixth day; Rohtak down a sixth day; Welingkar's fee page 403s the weekly checkSIMC's 2027-28 dates unpublished on day twenty-nine; Sambalpur's /admission/ 404'd a fifth day; Rohtak unreachable (HTTP 000) five days running; Welingkar's fee page last 403'd the 12 October weekly checkSIMC's MBA-CM page re-read today still prints 'Admission Open for 2027-28' branding with both batch fee tables (2026-28 at Rs 3,75,500 per instalment, first-year all-in Rs 10,82,900; 2025-27 at Rs 3,57,500) and no date table — day thirty; the prospectus governs. IIM Sambalpur's /admission/ page 404'd AGAIN today — a sixth consecutive day after serving 12-18 October; the flagship MBA fee remains unpublished everywhere. IIM Rohtak's website was unreachable from our vantage for a sixth consecutive day (HTTP 000 on every scheme tried) — its printed documents stand from this week's mirror reads, disclosed on each Rohtak page. Welingkar's Mumbai PGDM page returned a CloudFront 403 to this week's scheduled fee re-check — the fee was never printed on a reachable page; the watch continues
Four new fee-verified comparisons join the library — the Visakhapatnam arc completes, and Jammu's mesh with itThe comparison library last grew on 23 October (the Visakhapatnam-Raipur, Visakhapatnam-Trichy, Rohtak-Visakhapatnam and Nagpur-Visakhapatnam pairs)Today adds four pairs, every figure re-read against official documents this morning: IIM Jammu vs IIM Visakhapatnam (the gender-split 91/89 CAP table against the 82-overall door with the 48-weight interview — Rs 22,80,756 against Rs 23,58,590), IIM Ranchi vs IIM Visakhapatnam (the JAP partner's signed Rs 19,20,000 plus Rs 28,350-a-term mess against the interview machine's Rs 23,58,590), IIM Visakhapatnam vs IIM Kozhikode (the 82 door against the 85/75 gate with the 60/60/60 academic floor — Rs 23,58,590 against the signed Rs 23,50,000, the closest sticker pair in the series), and IIM Jammu vs IIM Ranchi (the gender-split CAP table against the JAP partner's signed bill — Rs 22,80,756 against about Rs 20.9 lakh all-in). With these four, Visakhapatnam's pairwise arc against the nine other mapped IIMs is complete, and Jammu's mesh completes with it

What should you do now?

  1. If NMIMS is your target: the extended window closes TOMORROW, 25 October 2026. Complete Step 2 on nmat.nmims.edu (Rs 3,000) on or before the day preceding your NMAT exam date; NMIMS still counts only your first attempt. If you miss it, the NMAT exam itself still opens other doors — KJ Somaiya counts the best of two attempts — but the NMIMS route ends tomorrow.
  2. If SNAP is your route: the homepage's AMA session (27 October, 5:00-6:00 PM, Zoom) requires a free SNAP registration completed by 26 October — two days. Registration proper closes 25 November; tests 13/19/26 December; result 12 January 2027. The 8 October question bank never appeared publicly, seventeen days and counting; do not pay anyone selling it on the side.
  3. If KMAT is your Karnataka door: seven days to the registration close on 31 October, and the restored test date — Saturday 14 November 2026 — has now held six days with the admit-card line still TBA. Register on kmatindia.com before the close; the September result is thirty-three days late and the government portal is still dark.
  4. If you sat MAT September: day twenty-four, no score anywhere — but the public page has now held its shape six days running, the longest stretch since the flips began. Ignore the page shapes (and the stale September 2025 fee text on the same URL) and check your mat.aima.in applicant dashboard directly.

The NMIMS extension ends tomorrow. The portal’s raw HTML re-read this morning still prints “Application Extended Till: 25th October 2026” — day fourteen, and the last day before the close. SNAP’s homepage has moved fully past Mock Test 2: the live banner is the Exclusive AMA Session on 27 October 2026 (5:00-6:00 PM, Zoom), gated on a free SNAP registration completed by 26 October — two days left — while the promised 8-October EMV question bank has still never appeared, day seventeen. The two long watches both extended their longest no-change stretches: MAT’s page held the December 2026 block a sixth consecutive day with the September score twenty-four days missing, and KMAT’s restored 14 November date held a sixth day with the admit-card line still TBA and seven days to the registration close. Both campus outages entered a sixth day — Sambalpur’s 404ing admissions page and Rohtak’s unreachable site — and Welingkar’s fee page returned a CloudFront 403 to the weekly re-check. Four new IIM comparisons join the library, every figure from documents opened this morning; with them, the Visakhapatnam pairwise arc and the Jammu mesh are both complete.
