What Changed in MBA Admissions: 8 October 2026

The short answer

On 8 October 2026, NMAT registration closes in two days (10 October); MAT September scores stay unposted on day nine as AIMA's page flips a sixth time; SNAP's promised EMV question bank is not yet on the mock page; KMAT's homepage and key-dates page now print different sessions; and IIM Rohtak's website is unreachable for a second day.

What changed?

ItemBeforeNow
NMAT — two days to the closenmat.nmims.edu printed 'Application Closes: 10th October 2026' with three days leftThe portal re-read this morning: 'Application Closes: 10th October 2026' stands — two days. The career-outcomes block (average CTC Rs 24.60 LPA, highest Rs 41.28 LPA, top-10% Rs 31.25 LPA, 190 recruiters with 69 new and 76 Fortune 500) and the first-attempt FAQ stand unchanged. The Admission Handout re-downloaded today prints the same close, the Rs 13,50,000-a-year Mumbai fee and the no-quota warning verbatim. After Friday, the NMIMS door for this cycle is shut
MAT — September scores day nine, and the page flipped a SIXTH timeAIMA's page printed the December 2026 block alone; mat.aima.in carried a stale September-registrations bannerThe governing page flipped again overnight: today's read prints the September 2026 block ALONE — 'Information to Candidates for MAT September 2026', the completed 13/20 September tests, and the EXPIRED 'by last week of September 2026' score line — with the December block gone. That is the sixth shape on this URL in nine days. mat.aima.in serves today and its banner has rolled forward to 'MAT December 2026 registrations are open' (67 test cities) — still no score notice anywhere. Day nine; the applicant dashboard remains the only channel
SNAP — question-bank day, and the bank is not up yetThe Ethics, Morality and Values mock sat 7 October; the dedicated question bank was promised for 8 OctoberThe promised EMV question bank has NOT appeared as of this morning's check: the /snap-mock page still prints the first (24 September) mock's instructions, and the snaptest.org homepage carries no EMV block at all. If the bank lands by email or the mock portal rather than the public page, registered candidates will see it first. The real registration stays open to 25 November; CBTs 13, 19 and 26 December; result 12 January 2027; 17 institutes, 32 programmes, 79 cities, Rs 2,550 plus Rs 1,000 per programme — all re-confirmed today
KMAT — the homepage and the key-dates page now disagreeBoth pages printed the new session (registration to 31 October) with the test date pulled back to TBASplit-brain today: the homepage holds the new session — 'Online Registration End Date October 31st, 2026', admit card TBA, practice test TBA, test date TBA (day two of the withdrawal) — while the key-dates page has ROLLED BACK to the completed September block ('Registration End Date 6th September 2026', test 20 September). The 20 September sitting's result stays unposted — day eighteen — and kppgca.karnataka.gov.in remains DNS-unresolved, day eighteen. The homepage is the governing read: registration open to 31 October, test date unconfirmed
Watches — IIM Rohtak's site is down for a second day; SIMC day fifteenRohtak unreachable day one (policy read via mirror, fee carrying its dated 10-Sep read); SIMC dates day 14 with the programme page movediimrohtak.ac.in times out on every route again today — homepage, policy PDF, fee PDF all unreachable (HTTP 000, day two); the Batch-17 admission policy was re-read today through the extraction mirror (97-flat bar, five stages, 60/20/20, 264 seats all hold), while the Rs 17,90,000 fee keeps its dated 10 September read, disclosed on the new Rohtak-vs-Udaipur comparison. SIMC's own 2027-29 dates stay unpublished, day fifteen — the moved MBA-CM page renders refreshed curriculum detail but still no date table; the prospectus governs. IIM Sirmaur's rollover watch continues; MDI closes 28 November

What should you do now?

  1. If NMAT is your NMIMS door: registration closes the day after tomorrow, 10 October. Only your first attempt counts, and the Rs 3,000 NMIMS application (Step 2 on the portal) must be complete before your exam day. Finish both steps tonight, not Friday evening.
  2. If you sat MAT September: day nine, no score anywhere, and AIMA's governing page now prints the September block alone with its expired promise. Check your mat.aima.in applicant dashboard directly — the public pages are oscillating and the portal banner has already moved on to December.
  3. If you sat the SNAP Ethics mock yesterday: the promised question bank is not on the public mock page yet — watch your registered email, SMS and the mock portal today, and do not pay anyone selling 'EMV question banks' on the side.
  4. If KMAT is your Karnataka door: trust the homepage, not the key-dates page — registration stays open to 31 October and the test date is TBA again. The September result is eighteen days late with the government portal still dark; hold plans loosely.
  5. If you are weighing IIM Rohtak: the institute's own site has been down two days, so any 'current Rohtak fee' an agent quotes today is not coming from the source. Our comparison carries the dated read, plainly labelled.

Two days left on the NMIMS door. MAT September’s missing scores reach day nine with AIMA’s governing page flipping for the sixth time in nine days. SNAP’s promised Ethics question bank has not appeared on the public mock page. KMAT’s own homepage and key-dates page now print two different sessions. And IIM Rohtak’s website has been unreachable for two days, mid-season. Every item above was verified on official pages or official PDFs opened today, 8 October 2026.
