MBA Colleges in Delhi NCR 2026: 9 Verified Routes

Delhi NCR is not one MBA market. The four selective PGDM schools in this wave require recognised management exams and their own assessment. The five private universities already covered on Udaan use broader exam pools, their own tests or programme-specific selection. Both can be legitimate. Neither becomes “direct admission” merely because an agent says so.

Start with the route, not the college list

If the applicant has CAT, XAT, GMAT or CMAT, begin with the selective group and check the exact exam accepted by each programme. A call from IMT is preparation for Critical Thinking and Personal Interview. IMI names essay writing and interview. BIMTECH names extempore and interview. FORE combines exam, selection performance, academics and work experience. One generic interview plan will not cover all four.

If the applicant has no competitive score from those exams, move to the published university routes. O.P. Jindal Global University lists multiple score options; Sharda has SUAT and qualifying national-exam routes; GD Goenka uses MAT or its own aptitude test; Bennett publishes a multi-exam selection; Amity has programme-specific assessment. Amity’s published Sponsored category has different eligibility and a differential fee. It is a university-run category, not a region-wide management quota or an agent-created seat.

Compare the selective group on one cost boundary

Fee labels matter. BIMTECH’s Rs 14,00,000 figure is tuition, while its residential hostel and mess are additional. IMI’s Rs 23,54,000 is a programme total with several components and a refundable deposit, but hostel and mess remain separate. FORE’s Rs 23,24,000 is an academic fee. IMT’s official fee page links the current 2026–28 document; because that PDF did not load reliably during this check, we link it instead of copying a number we could not verify.

Check the exact programme behind the brand

An institution may offer a flagship PGDM and several specialised programmes with different exam rules, curriculum or cohort. Compare the actual programme on the offer letter. Ask whether the course matches the target function, then read the latest official placement report for that programme or disclosed cohort. Recruiter logos alone do not prove a specific role, and a highest package does not describe the typical outcome.

Understand the residential difference

IMT Ghaziabad and BIMTECH say residence is compulsory. That affects both cost and campus experience. IMI says its on-campus rooms are limited and discretionary, so an off-campus plan may be necessary. FORE describes leased facilities near its New Delhi campus. The private universities span Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram and Sonipat, so daily travel can become a meaningful time and cost line even when hostel is optional.

Keep the legal line clear

There is no universal “Delhi NCR management quota.” The statutory 10% layer exists only in the defined GGSIPU-affiliated unaided-college setting and still requires the prescribed entrance eligibility, a published application process and merit ordering. It does not apply automatically to private universities or autonomous PGDM institutes.

For this selective group, the school-level wording is clearer: IMT and FORE say there is no management quota; BIMTECH says it offers no direct admission and authorises no broker for seat filling.
