As of 21 September 2026, SCIT Pune runs SNAP-only MBA programmes in IT Business Management and Data Sciences and Data Analytics, with a new MBA in AI in Business announced as opening via SNAP. SCIT's own registration closes 25 December 2026 — before the SNAP result. Academic fees print Rs 3,90,000 per instalment, Rs 7,80,000 a year.
Selection process
- Register and pay for SNAP 2026 at snaptest.org — registration and payment close 25 November 2026; CBT sittings 13, 19 and 26 December 2026; result 12 January 2027. Apply to SCIT in the same form and pay Rs 1,000 per programme.
- Complete SCIT's own online registration and pay the institute registration fee — last date 25 December 2026 (Friday), weeks before the SNAP result.
- Shortlist for Group Exercise and Personal Interaction announced 22 January 2027.
- Online GE-PI: 4, 5, 6, 7 and 11, 12, 13, 14 February 2027.
- First merit list 9 March 2027; first-merit fee payment by 26 March 2027; programme commences 2 June 2027 (hostel registration 31 May-1 June).

Is there a management quota here?
SCIT prints no Discretionary Quota Seats line on the pages we opened today — unlike sister campuses SIBM Bengaluru, SIBM Hyderabad, SIDTM Pune, SIOM Nashik, SIMC Pune and SSSS Pune, whose fee documents carry the 2x rule in writing. The SIU caution notice governs: admissions are strictly merit-based through SNAP and the institute's own GE-PI, no donation or capitation is charged, the university has authorised no agent, and approaching one can mean permanent debarment from every Symbiosis programme. Anyone selling a 'management seat' at SCIT is describing a route the institute does not print.

What should an applicant plan for?
Two registrations again, but on a tighter clock than the sister campuses. SNAP closes 25 November 2026; SCIT’s own online registration and fee payment close 25 December 2026 — applicants who wait for the 12 January result to decide will have missed SCIT entirely. The shortlist prints 22 January, online GE-PI runs 4-7 and 11-14 February, the first merit list lands 9 March, fees follow by 26 March, and the programme commences 2 June 2027. The final merit score is printed in plain numbers: SNAP 50, Group Exercise 10, Personal Interview 40.

The 2026-28 table prints “Academic Fees (Per Annum) 3,90,000” under each of the four instalment columns — the same label trap we have documented at SIBM Pune, SICSR, SIIB, SSBF and SIDTM. The payable rows settle it: instalment one is Rs 6,02,300 (academic 3,90,000 + deposits 40,000 + hostel 1,12,500 + mess 59,800) and instalment two Rs 4,49,800, so the academic fee is Rs 3,90,000 per semester, Rs 7,80,000 a year, Rs 15,60,000 across the batch.
