What Changed in MBA Admissions: 7 October 2026

The short answer

On 7 October 2026, SNAP's Ethics, Morality and Values mock sat today (the EMV question bank lands tomorrow, 8 October); NMAT registration closes in three days (10 October); MAT September scores stay unposted on day eight with AIMA's page printing the December block alone; and KMAT's key-dates page has pulled the 14 November test date it printed yesterday back to TBA.

What changed?

ItemBeforeNow
SNAP — the Ethics, Morality and Values mock sat TODAYHomepage promoted the EMV mock: application closed 5 October, mock 7 October, question bank 8 October, slot timings by SMS, WhatsApp and emailMock day arrived: the EMV-section mock sat today, 7 October, for registered candidates in their communicated slots. The snaptest.org homepage, re-read this morning, no longer carries the mock block — it is done; the /snap-mock instructions page still prints the first (24 September) mock's instructions, a stale page we note for the record. The dedicated EMV question bank lands tomorrow, 8 October. The real registration stays open to 25 November; tests 13, 19 and 26 December; result 12 January 2027; 17 institutes, 32 programmes, 79 cities, best-of-3, Rs 2,550 + Rs 1,000 per programme — all re-confirmed on the official site today
NMAT — three days to the closenmat.nmims.edu printed 'Application Closes: 10th October 2026' with four days left beside the new career-outcomes blockThe portal re-read this morning: 'Application Closes: 10th October 2026' stands — three days. The career-outcomes block (average CTC Rs 24.60 LPA, highest Rs 41.28 LPA, top-10% Rs 31.25 LPA, 190 recruiters with 69 new and 76 Fortune 500) stands unchanged, and the official FAQ repeats the first-attempt rule. The Admission Handout re-downloaded today prints the same close, the Rs 13,50,000-a-year Mumbai fee and the no-quota warning verbatim
MAT — September scores day eightAIMA's page flipped a fifth time to the December 2026 block alone; mat.aima.in served a stale May-2025 scheduleNo change on the governing page: the December 2026 block stands alone (PBT registration closes 14 December, test 20 December; CBT closes 21 December, test 27 December; scores by the first week of January 2027; Rs 2,300 a mode, Rs 4,000 both; no IBT line). No September score-release notice exists anywhere — day eight. mat.aima.in SERVED today but its homepage banner still reads 'MAT September 2026 registrations are open' — a stale banner, not a score notice. The applicant dashboard remains the only channel
KMAT — the 14 November test date has been PULLED back to TBAkmatindia.com's homepage and key-dates page printed a new session: registration ends 31 October 2026, test Saturday 14 November 2026A day after printing it, the official key-dates page has withdrawn the test date: today's raw read shows 'Online Registration End Date October 31st, 2026' standing, but Admit Card Release Date, Practice Test Date and KMAT 2026 Test Date all read TBA. The 20 September sitting's result stays unposted — day seventeen — and kppgca.karnataka.gov.in stays DNS-unresolved, day seventeen. Registration for the new session remains open with a printed close; the test date is now unconfirmed again
Watches — SIMC's programme page moved; Sirmaur still unrolled; NMAT closes FridaySIMC dates day 13; Sirmaur's two stale fee pages; MDI banner live to 28 NovemberSIMC's own 2027-29 dates still unpublished, day 14 — and the MBA-CM programme page has MOVED: the old /mba URL now 404s and the page lives at /programmes/mba-communication-management, carrying 'Admissions 2027' branding, the prospectus download and the live SNAP 2026 apply button, but still no printed date table; the prospectus governs. IIM Sirmaur's rollover watch continues: /mba-fee-structure still prints the 2025-27 Rs 20,00,000 table (updated 28/04/2026) and /fee-structure the 2023-24 table. MDI's window closes 28 November; SPJIMR 27 November; XIM's XGMT sits 17 January with applications to 15 December

What should you do now?

  1. If you sat the SNAP Ethics mock today: the EMV question bank lands tomorrow, 8 October. If you missed the mock application entirely, nothing is lost — the real SNAP registration stays open to 25 November and the best-of-3 December tests are what count.
  2. If NMAT is your NMIMS door: registration closes 10 October — three days, Friday. Only your first attempt counts, and the Rs 3,000 NMIMS application must be complete before your exam day. Finish both steps now.
  3. If you sat MAT September: day eight, still no score anywhere. Check your mat.aima.in applicant dashboard directly (the portal served today but shows a stale 'registrations are open' banner); the December session — PBT closes 14 December, CBT 21 December — is the re-entry route.
  4. If KMAT is your Karnataka door: registration for the new session stays open to 31 October, but the test date has returned to TBA a day after being printed — hold your plans loosely and watch the official page, and treat anyone selling the September result early as fraudulent.
  5. If an agent quotes an IIM Sirmaur '2026-28 fee': the institute's main site still prints two stale tables (2025-27 and 2023-24). The only 2026-28 reading is the dated admissions-portal one — ask which page they are reading.

Mock day for SNAP’s Ethics section: the EMV mock sat today and the question bank lands tomorrow. NMAT’s countdown reaches three days. MAT September’s missing scores reach day eight. And KMAT did something unusual even by this season’s standards: it pulled the 14 November test date it printed yesterday back to TBA, while the September result stays unposted on day seventeen.
