As of September 2026, XIME Kochi admits 150 students to its two-year residential PGDM on a CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT or ATMA score — or KMAT, which XIME lists for Kochi alone — followed by a group discussion and interview weighted 35/40/13/12. The official 2026-28 fee page lists Rs 9,90,000 for Kochi, with hostel mandatory at Rs 12,000-16,000 a month. No management-quota route is published.
Selection process
- Apply only online at admissions.xime.org — Rs 2,000 application fee, plus Rs 250 to add a second campus preference; applications open from November each year.
- Hold a valid score in CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT or ATMA; KMAT is listed only for Kochi and TANCET only for Chennai. Backlogs make an applicant ineligible.

Is there a management quota here?
XIME's admission and fee pages describe an exam score, an online application and a GD-PI — they publish no management-quota percentage for any campus, Kochi included, as of 1 September 2026. XIME Kochi is the Kerala campus of the three-city XIME group — a fully residential, trimester-system PGDM that is quietly the most useful door in this city for one specific student: the KMAT-only applicant. XIME lists KMAT for Kochi alone, not Bangalore or Chennai. If your exam season was a state-test season, this is the campus that still takes you seriously.
What should an applicant plan for?
Applications open from November, only online at admissions.xime.org — Rs 2,000, plus Rs 250 to add a second campus. The bar is 50% in graduation (45% for SC/ST), backlogs are disqualifying, and final-year students must finish exams before July 2026 with proof of passing by September 2026. One valid score from CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA or KMAT gets the file read; the GD and interview then carry 40% of the published weight, against 35% for the test, 13% for academics and 12% for extra-curriculars, diversity and work experience. A weak test day is survivable inside a coherent file; an absent test is not.
The money is published per campus. Kochi runs Rs 9,90,000 for 2026-28 — Rs 5,20,000 then Rs 4,70,000 — against Bangalore’s Rs 12,90,000 for the same diploma. Add a refundable Rs 25,000 caution deposit and a mandatory hostel at Rs 12,000-16,000 a month for ten months a year. Kochi’s intake is 150 of the group’s roughly 540, and the admission FAQ quotes institution-wide placements of Rs 10.8 LPA average, Rs 23.7 LPA high and Rs 14.3 LPA for the top tenth — not campus-split, so read them as group claims.
Where does XIME Kochi fit in a Kochi shortlist?
At the residential end. CUSAT SMS is the public floor, Rajagiri the university MBA with the fee-committee price, and SCMS Cochin the six-exam PGDM at Rs 7.95 lakh. XIME Kochi costs the most of the four and buys the compulsory-hostel format and the group placement machine.
