The short answer

On 19 October 2026, KMAT restored its 14 November test date on both official pages after twelve days marked TBA, registration still closing 31 October. SNAP's Mock Test 2 payment closes tomorrow; NMIMS's window has six days left; MAT's page flipped a tenth time; IIM Sambalpur's admissions page 404'd again.

What changed?

ItemBeforeNow
KMAT — the 14 November test date is BACK after twelve days TBABoth official pages had printed the new session with the test date TBA since 7 October — the 14 November date printed on 6 October was withdrawn the next day and stayed withdrawn through 18 OctoberBoth pages re-read this morning print the restored date: 'Saturday, November 14th, 2026' beside the test-date label on the homepage AND the key-dates page, with online registration still ending 31 October 2026 and admit card and practice test still TBA. The homepage changed for the first time in eleven days (35,579 bytes against the byte-identical 35,421 of 8-18 October). The 20 September sitting's result stays unposted — day twenty-eight — and kppgca.karnataka.gov.in remains DNS-unresolved, day twenty-eight. The registration window is the confirmed door; the test date is now printed again but has moved before — hold it loosely
SNAP — Mock Test 2 eve: payment closes tomorrowThe /snap-mock page moved to Mock Test 2 on 18 October: pay by 20 October 11:59 PM, test 23 OctoberThe page re-read this morning stands unchanged on the eve of the eligibility cut-off: applicants who have paid for SNAP 2026 by 20 October 2026, 11:59 PM — TOMORROW — sit Mock Test 2 on 23 October, the same four-section shape (General English 10, Analytical and Logical Reasoning 20, Quantitative/DI/DS 20, Ethics, Morality and Values 10), 60 questions in 60 minutes, 0.25 negative marking, credentials by SMS, WhatsApp and email. The dedicated EMV question bank promised for 8 October has still never appeared — day twelve. The calendar re-verified at the canonical /snap-important-dates URL: registration closes 25 November (Wednesday), admit cards 7/11/18 December, tests 13/19/26 December, result 12 January 2027 (Tuesday)
NMAT — extension day nine, six days leftnmat.nmims.edu printed 'Extended Till: 25th October 2026' on 18 October, day eight of the extensionThe portal re-read this morning still prints 'Extended Till: 25th October 2026' beside the live countdown — day nine of the extension, six days to the close. The handout's internal inconsistency (schedule table 25 October, summary table 10 October) is unchanged; the live portal banner governs. NMIMS still counts only your first NMAT attempt, and the GMAC exam-delivery window runs 2 November-20 December
MAT — day nineteen, and the page flips a tenth timeAIMA's governing URL printed the September 2026 block alone on 18 October, the ninth flipThe content page re-read today has flipped again — back to the December 2026 candidate block (PBT registration closes 14 December, admit card 17 December, test 20 December; CBT closes 21 December, admit card 24 December, test 27 December) with the September block gone — the tenth shape change on this URL in the watch. No September score notice exists anywhere, nineteen days past the expired 'by last week of September' promise. mat.aima.in serves the December 2026 registration banner with results promised 'by the first week of January 2027'. The applicant dashboard remains the only channel that matters
Watches — Sambalpur's page 404s again; SIMC day twenty-five; Rohtak unreachableSambalpur's /admission/ had served since 12 October with no fee table; SIMC's 2027-28 dates unpublished; Rohtak's site serving since 10 OctoberIIM Sambalpur's /admission/ page 404'd AGAIN today — three separate reads, while the homepage serves normally — after serving 12-18 October; the flagship MBA fee remains unpublished everywhere. SIMC's MBA-CM page re-read today still prints 'Admission Open for 2027-28' with both batch fee tables (2026-28 at Rs 3,75,500 per instalment; 2025-27 at Rs 3,57,500) and no date table — day twenty-five; the prospectus governs. IIM Rohtak's website was unreachable from our vantage today (HTTP 000, homepage included) — its policy and fee documents were re-read through an extraction mirror for today's comparison
Four new fee-verified comparisons join the libraryThe comparison library last grew on 18 October (the Sambalpur-Raipur, Sambalpur-Trichy, Jammu-Rohtak and Jammu-Nagpur pairs)Today adds four pairs, every figure re-read against official documents this morning: IIM Sambalpur vs IIM Ranchi (the 85-concession no-sectionals door against the JAP partner — an unpublished fee and a freshly-404'd page against Ranchi's signed Rs 19,20,000 plus mess Rs 28,350 a term), IIM Jammu vs IIM Raipur (the gender-split 91/89 table and 42/30/28 formula against the JAP host's 150-mark composite; Rs 22,80,756 against Rs 20,08,000), IIM Jammu vs IIM Udaipur (two printed CAT-reading formulas — 42/30/28 against 55/25/20 on the score, not the percentile; Rs 22,80,756 against Rs 21,51,258 residential), and IIM Rohtak vs IIM Kashipur (the flat 97 against the JAP-era 95/75 reference; Rs 17,90,000 against Rs 20,80,000 with the tenth-of-batch waiver net — Rohtak's documents re-read via mirror with its site down)

What should you do now?

  1. If SNAP is your route: pay for SNAP 2026 by TOMORROW 20 October 2026, 11:59 PM to be eligible for Mock Test 2 on 23 October — the EMV section is inside it. Registration proper closes 25 November; tests 13/19/26 December; result 12 January 2027. The 8 October question bank never appeared publicly; do not pay anyone selling it on the side.
  2. If NMIMS is your target: the extended window closes 25 October 2026 — six days. Complete Step 2 on nmat.nmims.edu (Rs 3,000) on or before the day preceding your NMAT exam date; NMIMS still counts only your first attempt.
  3. If KMAT is your Karnataka door: registration stays open to 31 October and the test date is printed again — Saturday 14 November 2026 — after twelve days TBA. Register on kmatindia.com before the close and hold the date loosely until admit cards print; the September result is twenty-eight days late and the government portal is still dark.
  4. If you sat MAT September: day nineteen, no score anywhere, and the public page has flipped back to the December block. Ignore the shapes and check your mat.aima.in applicant dashboard directly.
  5. If you are weighing the new IIMs: today's four comparisons price every pair from the official documents — Sambalpur's fee is still unpublished and its page is 404ing again, so treat any figure you are quoted for it as unverified until the institute prints; Rohtak's site is down today, but its printed Rs 17,90,000 and 97-flat bar stand from the documents.

The watch layer, re-read against official sources this morning, plus four new fee-verified comparisons.

The headline is KMAT’s: the 14 November test date is back on both official pages — printed on 6 October, withdrawn to TBA on 7 October, held TBA for twelve days, and restored today; the homepage changed for the first time in eleven days. Registration still closes 31 October. The September result, meanwhile, is twenty-eight days late with the government portal still DNS-dead.

The standing watches: SNAP’s Mock Test 2 eligibility closes tomorrow — pay for SNAP 2026 by 20 October, 11:59 PM, sit 23 October — while the promised EMV question bank stays missing on day twelve; NMIMS’s extended application holds at its 25 October close on day nine (six days out); MAT’s September scores remain unposted nineteen days past the expired promise with AIMA’s page flipped a tenth time — back to the December block; SIMC’s 2027-28 dates remain unpublished on day twenty-five; IIM Sambalpur’s admissions page 404’d again after a serving week; IIM Rohtak’s site was unreachable today.

The four new comparisons: IIM Sambalpur vs IIM Ranchi (the most concessional printed bar in the IIM series against a JAP partner’s signed Rs 19,20,000), IIM Jammu vs IIM Raipur (the gender-split 91/89 table against the JAP host’s 150-mark formula, Rs 2.7 lakh apart), IIM Jammu vs IIM Udaipur (two institutes that both read the CAT itself — 42/30/28 against 55/25/20 — Rs 1.3 lakh apart, scope in Udaipur’s favour), and IIM Rohtak vs IIM Kashipur (the flat 97 against the JAP-era 95/75 reference, Rs 2.9 lakh apart before Kashipur’s tenth-of-batch waiver net).
