What Changed in MBA Admissions: 2 October 2026
The short answer
On 2 October 2026, AIMA's MAT page still promises September scores 'by last week of September' — the window expired Tuesday with no score notice; the score portal serves again after days of 403s. Welingkar's main domain is serving again after a fortnight blocked. SNAP's homepage now promotes an EMV mock on 7 October. NMAT registration closes in 8 days.
What changed?
| Item | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| MAT September scores — thirteenth check: the promised window EXPIRED Tuesday; no score notice anywhere; the page has re-rolled to the 2026 block and the portal serves again | AIMA's MAT page had rolled back to printing only a stale September 2025 schedule a day before the score window ended, and mat.aima.in returned 403 even to a rendered browser | Two days past the promised 'by last week of September 2026' window (it ended Tuesday 30 September), AIMA's MAT content page re-read today prints the September 2026 block again — the 2025-only rollback is gone — but the result line still reads 'Availability of MAT September '26 Score on MAT Website: By last week of September 2026' with no score-release notice. mat.aima.in SERVES again today (it 403'd for days) but its homepage still carries the stale 'registrations are open' banner and no score announcement. Scores, when they post, land on the applicant dashboard at mat.aima.in — check there, not the content page. December 2026 still has no candidate schedule after thirteen consecutive checks; mat-december-2026 stays unbuilt |
| Welingkar — full domain recovery after a fortnight blocked; the PGDM page serves with intake and class profile intact | welingkar.org's edge responded CloudFront 403 again on 29 September after days fully dark — a partial recovery; only the cutoff-PDF subdomain served | welingkar.org SERVES today: the PGDM Mumbai page renders in full — 'Present Intake: 180, Program started in 1994', the 2025-27 class profile (62% freshers, 53/47 gender split, 68% from the West zone) and the programme structure. The page still prints no fee, so the profile's fee rows stay disclosed April-2026 fallbacks. The official 2026-28 entrance-cutoff PDF re-read today: Mumbai flagship PGDM group 80 percentile CAT/XAT/GMAT or 85 ATMA/CMAT, Retail/Media/Business Design 75 or 80, Bengaluru campus 75/80 with Business Design and Innovation at 70 |
| SNAP — the homepage now promotes a dedicated Ethics, Morality and Values mock on 7 October; application by 5 October; 32 programmes now printed (was 29) | The first official mock sat 24 September; the homepage printed 17 institutes, 29 programmes, 79 cities, best-of-3 | snaptest.org's homepage re-read today leads with 'Prepare for the New Ethics, Morality and Values Section': complete your SNAP application by 5 October, EMV mock test 7 October, EMV question bank 8 October, with test slot booking mandatory via the access link sent after application. The homepage now prints 17 Symbiosis institutes across 6 cities, 32 M.B.A. programmes (up from 29 — the list gained SIOM's Agri Operations and Durham dual-degree rows and SSBF's Aston and Macquarie dual degrees), 79 test cities, best of 3 attempts. All dated lines hold: registration closes 25 November, CBTs 13/19/26 December, result 12 January 2027 |
| Masters' Union Round 2 re-verified live — every figure holds; one stale Round-1 label inside the school's own MU-BAAT blurb | Round 2 live on the new URL: closes 27 November, MU-BAAT 28 November-6 December, early-bird 7.5% by 10 February, fee Rs 38,56,692 | The admissions-and-fees page rendered today: ROUND 2 — application closes 27 November 2026 11:59 PM, MU-BAAT window 28 November-6 December (only when required), admission fee Rs 90,000 due 19 January 2027, early-bird 7.5% on post-scholarship tuition by 10 February, final tuition 25 April 2027; PROGRAMME FEE Rs 38,56,692 (admission + tuition), application Rs 500, scholarships up to 100%, financing up to 100%. One cosmetic slip on the school's own page: the MU-BAAT description still says 'during the Round 1 window' — the dates beside it are the Round 2 dates. Cohort outcomes table now visible: PGP TBM average post-MBA CTC Rs 33.39 lakh, YLC Rs 28.24 lakh |
| Watches — MDI 2027-29 window day 8 past the pattern date; IIFT quiet; XIM 2027 admission open with XGMT on 17 January; KMAT result day 12 with KPPGCA DNS day 12; SIMC dates day 9; NMAT closes in 8 days; SPJIMR to 27 November | MDI's 2027-29 form could open any day (the 2026-28 window opened 25 September 2025); KPPGCA DNS-dead day 10; SIMC dates 404 day 6; NMAT closes in 11 days | MDI: mdi.ac.in's admissions page still titles itself 'PGDM Applications 2025' — the 2027-29 window is not printed, eight days past last cycle's 25 September open; check weekly. IIFT: the admissions page carries no 2027-29 MBA(IB) notice. XIM University: 2027 MBA admission is OPEN — XGMT 2027 on 17 January 2027, 2-4 pm, Rs 1,650, MBA-BM application deadline 15 December 2026. KMAT: twelve days after the test, kmatindia.com serves but prints no result date; kppgca.karnataka.gov.in DNS-unresolved day 12. SIMC's important-dates page still 404s, day 9 (the prospectus governs). Great Lakes Chennai's admissions page remains mid-rollover (stale 2023 deadline text). NMAT registration closes 10 October — 8 days — with the Rs 3,000 NMIMS application due before exam day (handout re-downloaded today). SPJIMR's window runs to 27 November, re-verified |
What should you do now?
- If you sat MAT September: the promised window has passed with no notice — ignore the content page and check your applicant dashboard at mat.aima.in directly; the portal is serving again today. Do not pay anyone claiming early score access, and do not trust a 'December MAT dates' quote until AIMA prints a candidate schedule — thirteen consecutive checks have found none.
- If SNAP is your Symbiosis door: the new EMV-section mock runs 7 October — complete your application by 5 October (three days) and book the slot from the access link you receive; the question bank follows on 8 October. Registration for the real thing closes 25 November.
- If NMAT is your NMIMS door: registration closes 10 October — 8 days. The separate Rs 3,000 NMIMS application must be finished on or before the day before your exam date, and NMIMS counts only your FIRST attempt — sit it prepared, not as practice.
- If MDI is a target: last cycle's window opened 25 September and this year's is still not printed — it can open any day. Keep CAT 2026 registration proof ready and check mdi.ac.in weekly; the application was Rs 3,000 last cycle.
- If Welingkar is on your list: the site is back — verify the fee on the official PGDM page directly (it still prints none), and read the printed cutoffs before an agent tells you a different story: 80 percentile CAT/XAT/GMAT for the flagship group, 85 for ATMA/CMAT.
- If an agent quotes a quota seat at FMS, SPJIMR, MDI, IIM Lucknow, TAPMI, XIM or any Symbiosis campus: every one of those institutions' own pages was opened today. SPJIMR and TAPMI print 'no quota' in so many words; the others print merit processes with no paid route. Ask the agent which printed document they are reading — then read it yourself.
Two days past AIMA’s promised MAT score window with no score and no notice — but the portal is reachable again, and Welingkar’s domain has recovered after a fortnight blocked. SNAP’s homepage opened a second mock window for the new Ethics section, closing for applications in three days. Four new fee-verified comparisons went live today — FMS vs SPJIMR, MDI vs IIM Lucknow, TAPMI vs XIMB — alongside the honest answer to the “SNAP cut-off” search. Every item above was verified on official pages or official PDFs opened today, 2 October 2026.
