Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (IIM Rohtak)

IIM Rohtak is the outlier among the newer IIMs: it runs its own five-stage process, joins neither CAP nor JAP, and prints the highest eligibility bar of the group — General 97. For a candidate below that line, Rohtak is simply not in the plan; for one above it, the plan has a trap worth knowing early: clearing 97 earns only a registration link, and the institute’s own window — tentatively 26 December 2025 to 9 January 2026, Rs 3,095 — is short and unforgiving.

What should an applicant plan for?

The eligibility table is unusual in a second way: it prints aggregate percentiles with no sectional cut-offs — General 97, EWS 93, NC-OBC 83, SC 60, ST 50, and DAP bars from 87 to 40. A lop-sided 97 with a weak section survives Stage I here in a way it would not at the CAP or JAP campuses.

After the interview, the final list is printed arithmetic: CAT percentile 60%, Personal Interview 20%, academic-plus-gender diversity 20% — the policy states plainly that the diversity block exists to balance a classroom that would otherwise skew male and engineering-heavy. With CAT carrying three-fifths of the list, Rohtak is a percentile-maximiser’s campus; the interview cannot rescue a middling score the way it can at Raipur (PI 40 of 150) or Visakhapatnam (PI 48 of 100).

The money is printed: Rs 17,90,000 for Batch 17 — Rs 8,95,000 a year with Term I at Rs 3,55,000 — plus mess Rs 48,000 a year, placement and development charges, and a refundable Rs 10,000 caution deposit.
