Symbiosis MBA Fees Compared 2026-28: Every Campus's Printed Bill in One Ladder

Every Symbiosis MBA campus's printed 2026-28 academic fee in one ladder — SSSS Rs 9.20 lakh to SIBM Pune Rs 26.20 lakh — read from the instalment rows, with the 2x quota campuses marked.

The short answer

As of 23 September 2026, the Symbiosis MBA system prints seventeen academic bills across fourteen campuses for the 2026-28 batch: SSSS Pune's sports MBA is the cheapest at Rs 9.20 lakh across two years, SIBM Pune the most expensive at Rs 26.20 lakh, and SIMS Pune prices the same programme twice — Rs 14.00 lakh for defence categories, Rs 20.60 lakh for civilians. Six campuses print a 2x discretionary-quota line.

The Symbiosis MBA system is not one price — it is seventeen printed bills across fourteen campuses, and the spread between the cheapest and the flagship is Rs 17.00 lakh. Every figure below is read from the institute’s own instalment row (never the “per annum” label), from official pages and PDFs opened this week — SSSS Pune and SIBM Noida added today, 23 September 2026.

All rows are the academic line only — hostel, mess, deposits and taxes print on top. SIOM’s and SSSS’s annexures print a true “per annum” figure split into equal instalments (SIOM Rs 9,50,000 into Rs 4,75,000 halves; SSSS Rs 4,60,000 into Rs 2,30,000 quarters); every other row’s “per annum” label sits over a per-instalment number, proved by the payable rows (SIBM Pune: Rs 9,12,100 + Rs 7,14,800 = Rs 16,26,900 year one). SIIB’s Agri Business (Rs 3,24,500) and Sustainability (Rs 3,23,000) programmes price below its flagship IB row. SIBM Noida prints two unlabelled tables side by side — we carry both and mark them; confirm with the institute which governs your batch.

The findings inside the ladder

The SSSS door is the cheapest bill in the system — and it prints the quota line too. The sports-management MBA at Lavale prints Rs 4,60,000 a year (Rs 9,20,000 across the batch) in the same official PDF that carries the 2x Discretionary Quota paragraph — making SSSS simultaneously the cheapest open door and the cheapest 2x entry point (Rs 18.40 lakh across the batch). Our SSSS profile maps the full 2027-28 calendar beside it.

The SIMS two-price programme. SIMS prices the same MBA by seat category: defence candidates pay Rs 14.00 lakh, civilians Rs 20.60 lakh — a 47% gap that makes SIMS simultaneously the fourth-cheapest and the thirteenth-cheapest door in the system depending on who you are. Our SIMS profile maps the 80/10/10 seat split and the MoU documentation rules.

The Nagpur domicile discount. SIBM Nagpur prints two tables: domicile candidates pay Rs 3,82,075 per instalment, everyone else Rs 4,49,500 — Rs 2.70 lakh saved across the batch, in writing, the only domicile price break we have found at Symbiosis.

The quota campuses. Six institutes print Discretionary Quota Seats at double the open-category academic fee: SIBM Bengaluru, SIBM Hyderabad, SIDTM Pune, SIOM Nashik, SIMC Pune and — found today — SSSS Pune. On this ladder that prices SSSS’s 2x line at Rs 18.40 lakh, SIDTM’s near Rs 33.80 lakh, SIMC’s near Rs 30.04 lakh and SIOM’s near Rs 38.00 lakh across the batch. The verbatim rule, the conditions and the agent-warning frame live in our six-campus quota map.

How to use the ladder

Price the programme, not the brand. A candidate choosing between SIHS’s healthcare MBA at Rs 12.58 lakh and SCIT’s ITBM at Rs 15.60 lakh is really choosing between healthcare and IT career tracks — the Rs 3.02 lakh difference is the smallest term in that decision. Compare each line against verified placement evidence using our placement-report guide, and read every “per annum” label against its instalment row before quoting anyone.

Straight answers

Which is the cheapest Symbiosis MBA on the printed 2026-28 fee?
SSSS Pune's MBA (Sports Management) at Rs 4,60,000 a year — Rs 9,20,000 across the two years — per the official fee-structure PDF opened 23 September 2026. Next are SICSR Pune's MBA (IT) at Rs 11,40,000 and SIHS Pune's healthcare MBA at Rs 12,58,000. The flagship SIBM Pune prints Rs 6,55,000 per instalment, Rs 26,20,000 across the batch — 2.8 times the SSSS bill.
Why does SIMS Pune print two different fees?
Because its seat categories are priced separately, per the official page opened 22 September 2026. Open Defence candidates pay Rs 3,50,000 per instalment (Rs 14,00,000 two-year), Study Leave Officers Rs 1,66,800 (Rs 6,67,200), and open civilians — the 10% category formerly called Industry Sponsored — Rs 5,15,200 (Rs 20,60,800). A civilian pays about 47% more in academic fees than a defence-category peer for the same programme.
Does SIBM Nagpur really charge domicile students less?
Yes — the official fee page prints two 2026-28 tables: Nagpur-domicile candidates pay Rs 3,82,075 per instalment (Rs 15,28,300 two-year) while other candidates pay Rs 4,49,500 (Rs 17,98,000), a Rs 2.70 lakh difference across the batch, both proved by their payable rows. It is the only Symbiosis campus we have found printing a domicile discount in writing.
Which Symbiosis campuses print a 2x discretionary quota?
Six, in the fee documents we have opened: SIBM Bengaluru, SIBM Hyderabad, SIDTM Pune, SIOM Nashik, SIMC Pune and — new on 23 September 2026 — SSSS Pune, whose official 2026-28 fee-structure PDF prints Discretionary Quota Seats at double the open-category academic fee for the entire duration. On this ladder that means SSSS's 2x line reads Rs 18.40 lakh, SIDTM's about Rs 33.80 lakh, SIMC's Rs 30.04 lakh and SIOM's Rs 38.00 lakh across the batch. The full verbatim rule is mapped in our discretionary-quota page.
Is the 'per annum' label on these tables trustworthy?
Not by itself — read the instalment row. SIBM Pune, SCMHRD, SCIT, SIMC, SIHS, SIMS, SIBM Nagpur, SIDTM, SSBF and SIIB all print 'Academic Fees (Per Annum)' above a number that is actually the per-instalment amount, proved by the payable rows (SIBM Pune: Rs 9,12,100 + Rs 7,14,800 = Rs 16,26,900 in year one). SIOM and SSSS are the reverse case: their annexures print a per-annum figure that the instalment row simply halves (SIOM Rs 9,50,000 into Rs 4,75,000 halves; SSSS Rs 4,60,000 into Rs 2,30,000 quarters). Either way, the instalment row is the truth.
Do these totals include hostel and mess?
No — every figure is the academic line only, before hostel, mess, deposits and taxes, which the same tables charge on top at published rates. As a scale reference, three-sharing hostel prints Rs 1,05,900 to Rs 2,13,600 a year and mess Rs 52,000 to Rs 1,19,600 a year across these campuses. The SIMS civilian-versus-defence gap and the Nagpur domicile discount are the two printed price breaks in the system.
